One of the most beautiful sites and views I’ve seen in a very long time. It’s breathtaking and just a MUST for all who come and visit San Diego, CA. If you’re able to include it as one of your stops through CA then I highly recommend you do it for at least an entire day. The beach is clean, so is the park area. It can be very crowded and parking can be hard to find but if you can get there early enough, you can beat the crazy late afternoon traffic. There are seals that swim near the shore where civilians will be so I suggest if you have children, be careful leaving them unattended. Google maps took me to a street where there was parking and it also served as an overlook to where the seals / sea lions rest and play. This street also features the crab catcher restaurant along with access to Eddie V's via a long staircase. There were no wildlife to see besides the birds and they smelled horrible. You’ll be amazed by the cliffs, birds, and sea lions hanging out within just a few feet from people. Be mentally prepared for their smell, haha. Very entertaining and fun for all ages.
