We Recently purchased our Beach house in Ocean City NJ and needed to furnish it. After shopping around at home and around the whole area, the only store that made us Happy was Platt’s !!! All we could say was Wow!! I’m not Kidding!! What a fantastic selection of coastal furniture and accessories!! It’s like a candy store of furniture! With very reasonable prices! If you don’t see what your looking for in the showroom in your colors or styles, The fantastic customer service team will gladly help you find what you need in a huge selection of catalogs! I was very Leary of ordering from a catalog but I did and I was very pleased with the quality & delivery time on everything! They have been doing this for years and they definitely know what they are doing!! We have had a truly Superb experience at Platt’s! It puts a huge Smile on our faces every time We walk in the showroom! Our beach house looks amazing!! Last but definitely not least!! The delivery team was extremely courteous & very professional! They made sure everything was put in its place! Very nice guys!! We decided to go with the whole house package which offered us many great discounts! Went into the store about a recent delivery as I thought the color was off in the custom upholstery. I was shown the coded swatch which matched the pillow I had brought. While trying to think in my head how I had ordered grey and wound up w Green I was told the following “maybe you stopped at Crab Trap before you came in....” implying that I had been drinking . Not funny. Insulting. Demeaning . Degrading. Rude and hurtful. And disrespectful. I am a customer, how dare you speak to me that way. So it’s actually 0 stars. and to the young man who said that to me. Get some manners. I am (was) a good customer. And in your frustration w me as I was trying to figure out the issue, you stooped to a very low level. Shame on you. Add on, today is my birthday. So of course when my mom had to furnish her newly purchased shore house, Platt’s was our first stop. Frank greeted us with a warm welcome and assisted us with our questions. We went home to take some measurements before making our purchase. When we returned the next day we were passed off onto another associate as Frank was busy helping another customer. He assured us we were in good hands, however the new sales associate couldn’t have been colder. She did not speak to my mother nicely and made my mom really uncomfortable. It wasn’t until I bluntly mentioned that my mom wants to purchase the $4,000 sectional but wanted to look at other colors before making her final decision that the sales person changed their tune. Long story short we only left purchasing an accent table and left the store without the sectional.
