I've found many items at a lesser price that are brand name, but not only that - that are QUALITY! If I could buy every item in this store, I would. The amount of beautiful pieces that are in here are countless - from the clothes, to the shoes, to the bags, to the accessories, to name a few. I am blown away by the beautiful items in this store. The owners definitely have an immensely fashion forward approach (plus they are delightful and good hearted human beings). Everything about NSC is wonderful--Thomas especially. He is so kind and welcoming, he remembers every name and every face, and every price and transaction is fair. I have been a customer/contributor for years and he has just been amazing since the beginning. Whenever I am back in town, I try to bring in accessories for him to sell--those are what bring in the money!! To compare his store to the big consignment corporations--they will give you the lowest price for your items and will only take pieces that are in style right now. This shop is amazing!!!! I travel around nj for work and stop at all kinds of consignment/secondhand stores and New Start is my favorite! This is a must-go destination for any thrifty shopper! All my favorite brands are there; Free People, Anthropology, Johnny Was and so many more in amazing condition! And everything is extremely fairly priced- finally a shop that’s not overcharging!
