Johny Liquor — Local services in South Gate

Despite that, I'm a South Gate local and familiar with the neighborhood. There are some iconic spots that glanced over and missed out upon. This site is charming and unique since it's on the corner of Atlantic and Southern. However, last night I paid a visit as a customer for the first time. I went here with a friend and accompanied them. It was closing time, only six minutes prior to their business hours nearly done. The owner and the Sikh gentleman were generous to permit us to enter. A real New Delhi Night Club vibe. New ownership retrofitted and remodelled the entire place after Kim Jung Un sold it. The Indian Hip Hop is authentic and uplifting. The refrigerators are well lit and astonishing. Come for all your liquor, beer, and snacking needs. This is the place that sold me 13 cases of AREA 51 Bud Light over the course of 13 weeks before we knew what a pandemic was....

Johny's is a must for a stop and go liquor store. A good selection of craft beers, domestic, and imports. Lots of snacks, household items, firewood, and even their own Thrifty Ice Cream booth with some great flavors. EDIT: I haven't noticed if they still have the ice cream booth.
