Pancake Corner — Restaurant in South Gate

The worse breakfast ever , I took my sister her husband and my husband to breakfast on September 23d we order our food , very simple 2 orders of french toast combos for me and my sister,one pancake combo for my husband and one spinach and cheese omelette for my sister husband,we just had coffee served and that's when the tragedy started the server brought coffee creamer in a little container only so I asked her to please bring some sweet cream with ever she had and she said there's isn't any so I very nicely told her I see a couple of tables that have some and she said, yes but we're told it's only for the owner s friends and I thought that was a horrible answer I wanted to get up and leave but my sister said let's wait because we've already ordered I was so angry 😡😡😡😡 and upset but I agreed to staying ,after that we waited 56 minutes to get our food and then when it was brought it was only my brother in-law s omelette and it had tomato,him for medical reasons can't have it so she takes it back and then she brings my husband s pancake s only and not the eggs I told her would you please bring the eggs because he eats the pancakes last.,she said let me go check of they're ready then she bringy sisters any order and it tooky brother in-law another half hour to get his omelette I told the server to tell the owner that she needed to have some classes about restaurant professional skills and that we had the nightmare of our lives in her place and we ll never ever would go back to that place, I have never experienced...

Where to start off... Food was "Okay". service? Non existent! My wife and I would always drive by this restaurant and want to eat there but never really gave it a shot. Today we decided what the heck and stopped by for breakfast. Upon arrival the only "greeting" we received was a "sit wherever you want". They were quick to take our food and drink order and getting the food to our table but that's where the service stopped. After about 10-15 minutes of trying to wave down our waitress, We started to wave down any and ALL waitress's that would come into the dining area and we were ignored multiple times. At one point I was asking our waiter for a refill and in the middle of me asking, she blatantly turned around and walked away is if I wasn't just talking to her. It got to a point where we just gave up and decided to ATTEMPT to ask for our bill and to go containers. After 10 minutes we decided we didn't even want to take our food home with us and walked right up to the cashier counter and once my card came out of my wallet that was the quickest service we had received in our experience here. I understand this is a mom and pop cafe but the tables were so crammed into the small dining area that you barely had enough space to sit in the booth comfortably let allowed someone who is pregnant. Not sure who our waitress was but she seemed more concerned about getting her makeup done rather than serving...

This was my first time here. We came in because of all the reviews we were reading. As we came in we were not greeted, we were not asked where we preferred to sit. After I asked for a booth it was cleaned and we were sat down. Waitress were not attentive at all took a while to come and get our orders. They took care of every other customer except us. At this point I was getting fed up and my face showed it. By this time we noticed that the people In front of us who were already there eating where Bearly getting there order. We lost our patience at this point and decided to pay for our coffee. As the waitress got our order ticket it was behind (4) that means we would off still been waiting like 30+ minutes. They gave us the coffee on the house and we left. I was looking forward to eating here due to all The good reviews it had, but I’m never coming back. The service was awful.
