Kate, the cashier has to be the rudest, most uncouth person I've EVER ENCOUNTERED at Kohl's!!!! Backstory: my mom and I came in to finish up some school shopping for my son (we live out of state so he hasn't gone back yet) and you could tell Kate was already frazzled when approaching the register. I was on my Kohl's app looking for coupons and my Kohl's cash barcodes and she rudely says to my mom "I can only reach so far" while successfully pulling our items forward to scan. My mom, who is the sweetest person in the world proceeded to tell her that she can hardly walk because of her ankle and that I was blocking her, so she couldn't move forward. I informed Kat that her tone and how she was rushing people could be taken for poor customer service and she continued to rudely respond " I don't care, I'm busy today." I then said, as I was waiting for the barcodes to pop up, "I understand you can be busy but you don't have to be rude, especially to my mom." Anyway, we continued a banter and I informed her that I would be speaking to a manager about her attitude and rudeness. I brought up that I used to work there years ago and knew management. She then stated, " oh so you don't work here, anymore, there's something to be said about that." I informed her that I no longer worked at Kohl's because, my mom interjects, " she lives and works in Maryland for a group of financial advisors." Kate then proceeds to tell me that she's only working there while she finishes her master's degree. Okay, Kate, that's fine but you're the reason why anybody is discussing employment because you, I guess, assumed that I don't have a job maybe?? Anyway, needless to say, I called back and complained to Brian, an assistant store manager and asked that I be contacted by a store manager and given the phone number to corporate. Of course Brian gave the typical apology but I will be calling corporate...

I usually do not shop at Kohls anyways but they carry Levi shorts which is why i was there. Now i know WHY I don't shop there & I know for sure I will never walk into a Kohls again after what we experienced.
We walked in & didn't know what time they closed (The doors were unlocked) I was trying to get some Levi shorts before I leave for vacation in the morning. Walked into the dressing room with my daughter, tried them on, loved them. I started walking back to where i found them because I was going to purchase more since they were on sale. Well that quick this employee came marching over verbally attacking us to leave. She acted like my daughter & I were criminals. She took the shorts out of my hands, rushing around like crazy and told us we needed to leave immediately. I was totally caught of guard & shocked. She continued to rush and pry us out of the store because the "overhead system " would be on and cops would be coming and that in her words "she was protecting us" I turned to walk out and then she yelled at us because the doors I was walking too weren't the right ones. We had literally just came in those unlocked doors 2 minutes ago. If they were closed then maybe lock the doors and don't treat innocent people like criminals ! Especially in front of my daughter who is very shaken up and now thinks we were "kicked out" of the store ( that's how my poor 8 year old processed it). My jaw is on the floor at how we were treated here. Unacceptable. Now I know why Kohls is closing so many stores. Guess I wasn't meant to have new Levi's for...

With that being said, I even am particularly picky with the customer sales representative that would deal with us. I even narrow it down to the person that is how much time and consideration I take into account before making a purchase. James is by far the absolute best customer sales representative in this entire area as I have personally taken the time to meet each and everyone of them. From start to finish, I was 100% satisfied with 100% customer satisfaction guaranteed. I refuse to work with or deal with anyone else. James is by far the best customer sales professional in the business. To me, investing time is worth it into making every purchase in life. James was easy going, friendly, accepting, and welcoming. The model of how every customer service professional should be. Without question, James went above and beyond expectations and answered every single question, comment, and concern that I had about my purchase. James had more patience with me than any other sales professional I have ever dealt with or worked with. Thank you James for a flawless sales transaction from start to finish. Patience is a virtue. And, you have more patience than anyone I have ever dealt with. If I were a business owner, I would have no problem handing you the keys. Because of you, I will be a Kohl's customer for life....
