Iāve purchased clothes here plenty of times in the months before my baby was born. There has been good and bad experiences in regards to employee attitudes, not all are unkind! However, since I have had my baby I have tried selling clothes here and it has been the worst experience. Money has been tight and Iāve brought clothes into kid to kid in hopes of exchanging them for in store credit to buy pants for my baby.. yet I have not been able to actually sell the clothes.
The first time, employees were kind, they explained the process and had me fill out their form with all my information. One girl looked through the clothes I had brought and selected what they wanted but then the other employee turned me away because I didnāt fill out my ID number (girl who looked through the clothes said it was okay, I had left my wallet in my husbands car and he was away at work). After discussing their policy in regards to the ID number, I was confused why they would go through the trouble just to send me away over just that, but I understood the employee was just trying to āfollow rulesā. She encouraged me to come back another day and it was because she WAS so kind that I did return to try to sell again!
My second attempt, I was more confident in my approach and filled the slip out again, this time WITH the gosh dang ID number (yay). When an employee, who seemed to be having a bad day (or just was one of those employees that I read about in these reviews with a bad attitude) asks if Iāve sold here. I explained the whole situation from the attempt previous, when she cut me off and in a tone that wasnāt the nicest, asks if Iām 18. Iām 24, but most assume I am significantly younger so I shrugged it off.. mostly the way she said it bothered me. She then proceeds to tell me that I have to stay in store and the wait will be an hour and a half to TWO HOURS. I then ask if I HAVE to stay for all that time in order to sell.. I have a newborn at home who I have to feed in an hour. Her response was again that I canāt leave the store if I want to sell. WHELP..
I left feeling very disappointed but also frustrated. I would understand having to stay in the store for 2+ hours if we were trying to sell a used car or pure gold here, but itās only BABY CLOTHES! If someone doesnāt return by end of day.. then maybe just donate it?? Just an idea, that might make their buying process a little more successful. I wont be trying to sell at this location again, not because of whatever policies but because this last lady made me feel so unseen and kind of dumb for trying to sell at all.. if I canāt stay there for two hours, that is. Iām not giving up on kid to kid altogether, because I have had more good experiences than bad and I believe in people. Iām just going to try to sell at another location.. which is a huge bummer because this one is...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreNot a very welcoming store I was just there about 15 minutes ago. Having good customer service is a very big thing for me especially working in a costumer service position. When I first walked in she said hi but then I kept waiting on her because I needed to ask her a question but she was on her phone ignoring me while I stood in front of her. While I was talking to her she wasn't smiling, she came off rude and even more rude when I first walked into the door acknowledged that I was there but she still decided to finish wtv she was doing on her phone. I was taught from my own previous jobs that anytime you work in a customer service setting you are to greet the customer upon entry with a smile not on the phone and ignoring the customer until you are done with wtv you were doing on the phone. Ive never been to kid to kid before it was my first time, a friend told me to go there and that I could sell some of the babies clothes I had left over. I brought in a big trash bag FULL of baby clothes...I know some probably had stains so I can understand that, but the majority of them were new only worn maybe twice and others still had tags on them. I only got 13.50$ in store credit, she said they only needed certain ones I told them they can donate the rest of the clothes. So basically they need their employers to have more customer service, smile more for goodness sake and don't be rude and stay on your phone when a costumer is standing right in front of you needing your help! you're also better off just selling your own baby clothes.
I normally never participate in reviews, some people who do just want to complain just to complain and I hate that theres people like that especially when it was a good employee and did everything they could the right way but because it wasnt what the customer wanted so then the customer got bitter about it. Ive seen that happen a lot with friends, family even myself. I cant stand people like that so believe me when I say I will not hesitate to write a review if I TRULY feel like it needs to be done.
To sum it up the store it's self is good, not too great getting a better amount store credit from your clothing you're selling to them but it's fair. There's plenty of stuff for kids and babies, pretty well organized. Toys are great, clothes are organized from thr ages of childeren and they have their own seperate section for younger babies. I'm only giving one star for the store because of their employees lack of customer service. The employees need to learn, look up, and review what it means to have costumer service once they can get that done then it will be an amazing store, one that I would recommend others to go to all the time :)

Ā Ā Ā Read moreI made a purchase and upon inspecting the receipt in my car I realized I was charged for an item I did not purchase. I went inside to fix this issue. The item was $6. They voided the transaction and rang the items up again. The total was now $3 less, not $6 less. The manager came over to see what the issue was. She said everything looked fine even though the total was $3 less not $6 less. I tried explaining it to her and she told me I didnāt need to be ignorant, the total was correct. I again told her the total was $49, I was charged for a $6 item I did not purchase, and was then being charged $46 after retuning the $6 item. She again called me ignorant and said I was rude. I told her I didnāt want to argue and said Iād like to pay for the transaction. She stared at me and said I was rude. I told her I wanted to pay. She said āyouāre still arguing with me.ā I said āI want to pay for my items and leave.ā She said I was rude and wasnāt accepting my payment form. A nice gentleman stepped in and said āThe customer is not being rude, sheās stated sheād like to pay for her items multiple times. Let her pay for her items and leave.ā I thanked him. The manager finally took my payment. I told her I would be reporting her to corporate. She said please do. I told her thank you for insulting a customer and calling me ignorant. Iām not sure she knows the meaning of the word ignorant. Ironic. I would never recommend this store and will NEVER...
