Me and my wife absolutely love this buffet. She used to work down the road from here and we've been hooked since 2015! We go here because the prices are competitive for an you can eat buffet that actually has good food. We have eaten at some gross buffets that cost more than this place for worse food, it's unbelievable - But that's exactly the definition of our 2 favorite items on their menu, after 4 pm at least. We love all their food but 2 items that we get incessantly and in every possible way are the Coconut Shrimp and the Cream Cheese Wontons. They have NEVER disappointed... The shrimp is average size, ready to eat and covered in a creamy coconut sauce. The texture is perfect, just the right sweetness and the sauce is heavenly! We load up on it, whether its takeout or dine-in! We love to mix the wontons with the shrimp and have the crispy cream cheeseness with the savory shrimp, plus some of their sticky rice noodles! I love many of the meat entrees also, such as the Barbeque Pork or the Black Pepper Chicken. It's way worth the price considering the taste and availability! We've found most places charge more than $10 for a smallish container of Walnut Shrimp, which we don't like as much as Lucky's Coconut Shrimp. Why pay that for a tiny container when the Coconut Shrimp is better and if you go in, you can eat as much as you want! Plus free soda refills and great customer service. If you understand the times they change the menu and whatnot, it'll most likely end up a favorite of yours too! I hope they never go out of business and that you found this as a roadmap to the diamond in the goldmine! We sure haven't found better all you can eat chinese for miles around. Hope ya have some...
Read moreI don’t think I would ever wanna go back to this and look at buffet. They don’t have the right kind of fish. The fish is water down version. I like to have some fish with the bones even if it’s catfish trout perch they don’t have enough fish and they don’t have enough potatoes This place. I will give this place five stars if it had fish with the bones that they can serve and they need to definitely add more crawfish crawfish should taste like Louisiana crawfish. They don’t have enough flavor to it and the fish. If they got laid out there now that fish look like it’s just been bald in water it don’t it don’t even look right This place need a complete makeover need a whole new management. It needs people from Louisiana to come there, it is lucky buffets, and show people how to cook the same thing at Chuck aroma not any better. The people just don’t know how to cook that’s why so many of these restaurants are closing they don’t have enough fish. I’m not talking about the fish they got out there is the water down fish. It’s a hybrid fish in a ball in the fish. What makes you think somebody wants some boiled ass fish? I can see if you steam the fish fried fish even put the fish in some type of air fryer, but don’t let it be that store about Walmart type fish with that kind of fish. Don’t even have any kind of taste to it. Fish is supposed to taste like fish not like it’s water down not enough season I give this place I give this restaurant a half of a star and I feel like I wanna take...
Read moreAmazing!! I had never been here before because frankly, I had never been to a Chinese buffet that was even remotely good. But as I drove past Lucky Buffet, in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic, I noticed that their all-you-can-eat buffet was open! Honestly, I was more than a little curious as to how they had to work it to make it post-pandemic approved. I was not at all unimpressed!! They have the whole biggest covered to prevent sneezing / coughing on the food. They serve you all-you-care-to-eat Chinese food and soda in the most friendly and approachable manner and all that for one extremely affordable price! (At this time, it was $8.95, but it looks like that varies) But the FOOD! Oh, let me tell you about the FOOD! Remember me saying that I had never been to a Chinese Buffet that was even remotely good?? That changed last night!! The food was literally to die for!! I ate until I was absolutely sick!! The coconut shrimp was my absolute favorite! It was sweet, creamy, tender and perfect! My next favorite was the teriyaki chicken. It was sweet, salty, and juicy, cooked to perfection. Other notable mentions are the low mein, cream cheese wontons, and salmon. The only things that I didn't care for were the chicken stuffed shrimp and the hot and sour soup. If you are looking for an impressive (and inexpensive!) night out... THIS...
