Sept 2025 The Washington Giant Eagle continues to be my go to for groceries. The produce is always fresh and well stocked as is the meat section and the shelves. I trust the meat from Giant Eagle! Chuck roasts and steaks are always tender and flavorful. The ground beef is consistently good. I won't buy meat anywhere else. I frequently buy rotisserie chicken and have not been disappointed. The dairy section always has good expiration dates on everything. Love GE brand cage-free brown eggs and GE butter. I never shop for groceries anywhere else - always Washington Giant Eagle! The employees are great - always pleasant and helpful!

I would like to add to my review today 2/15/25 to commend the personal shoppers at this Giant Eagle. They are amazing if you have to order for pickup or delivery. The attention that they give to choosing and bagging your groceries shows that they care. I am grateful for all of the personal shoppers during this time in my life when I'm having health problems and cannot shop for myself. I can shop from home with confidence knowing that they will select the same quality groceries that i would choose for myself and will bag them carefully! The Door Dash delivery has been hit and miss with mostly good experiences but I've had late deliveries and saw them drop my groceries more than once resulting in dented cans. I want to point out that this is a Door Dash issue and not Giant Eagle's fault. I wish that I could have a dedicated DoorDasher for more consistent service. But the purpose of this review is to thank and commend the personal shoppers at Giant Eagle who are providing a much needed and much appreciated service!

Many of the Giant Eagle brands are better than name brands i.e. canned artichoke hearts, canned sweet potatoes (yams), Breakfast Blend coffee pods, bottled spring water, baked beans, bagels, tuna, frozen pizza. I also find their meats to be consistently fresh and high quality. I bought two 6lb organic Natures Basket chickens for Thanksgiving that were awesome! Their ground beef and chuck roasts are always good. This Giant Eagle is normally well stocked and clean. Sometimes the ginger, onions, garlic, apples, potatoes are old but the berries and greens are always fresh. This is my go to store. The cashiers are very efficient and friendly. Thank you for the good job you do...

On Wednesday I went to buy groceries at Giant Eagle. I just happened to walk past the bakery and saw a cupcake cake I was going to buy. There was a woman working with black hair. Her hair was kinda rolled up working. She ignored me. So very nicely I said, Excuse me, Can you tell me if the cupcake cake was made today? She said they are all good. I said but when was it made. She was so annoyed and looked and said the 31st. I said that is OK, it will be outdated by the time we eat it. She walked away and I just happened to see Cream rolls. I said, If it isn't a bother, May I have three cream rolls. She started slamming things around and mouthed off something to me. I said, Excuse me, what did you say? She said nothing. I said yes you did, What did you say to me? She said to me very rudely, NO, I DON'T HAVE TIME TO WAIT ON YOU!!! I said, Never mind, I want nothing and as I was walking away, she yelled, HEY, HEY, WAIT. I kept on going. When I checked out I STARTED telling the cashier and she said tell the manager. She called the manager over. I then told her about the RUDE employee in the bakery. The manager said, It wasn't ACCEPTABLE.😠 Over all, employees aren't friendly and nice. That is the reason I do most of my grocery shopping at Krogers in West Virginia!!! The people in W.V., overall, are so nice and friendly. I am going to call corporate also and tell them about my terrible treatment at Giant Eagle in Washington, Pa! Update: Corporate doesn't...
