AT&T Store — Local services in South Strabane Township

I have been an AT&T customer for over 20 years and never had such a horrible experience as I did with the Washington, PA store. I wanted to add another phone to use strictly for work as my employer was now going to provide a cell phone reimbursement. My next cell phone bill ended up being much higher than what was quoted to me and the monthly payment for the phone equipment was double the quoted price. After making several trips to the store within two weeks of the purchase and with the paperwork that showed the quote, I was told that the sales rep, Doug, provided incorrect amounts. My mistake was telling the sales rep the amount of the cell phone reimbursement. Whether Doug made an honest mistake or intentionally lowballed the quote so it would not be more than cell phone reimbursement amount and to get the commission, I cannot say. Regardless, the managers (Howard and Jimmy) had no interest to rectify this or hold the sales rep and store accountable. The store did adjust the phone equipment price ONLY because it went back on sale within the alloted time from my date of purchase. To add salt to the wound, if I returned the phone I had to pay a restocking fee of $55 when I was only in this position because of the sales rep's ineptitude or intentional misquote. I never leave reviews, but since I had such a bad experience with this store in Washington PA, I want everyone to realize what they’re getting here. What you are getting is a phone with nothing that you agreed to. Not long ago we had to go back in and get A new phone. My price was to be $205. The price I got in the mail, was $301. This is monthly $301! A petite young lady sold me this. She was very nice during the whole process until I had issues with my bill. They write down all the prices on a piece of paper when you were there. I knew it was a great deal and I also needed to take a picture of this which I still have. I have gone back to the store, I have written to AT&T, but no success in getting my bill to a much lower dollar amount that was agreed to by this AT&T store in Washington PA. She also convinced me into buying a watch as they were BOGO. It was a great deal so I thought. She neglected to tell me I had to pay for cell service for both of those watches which is $10 each per month. I tried to give them back to the store and they would not take the watches. I also tried to disable the service that went with the watches, I was told I must take the service when I purchased to watch. My story could continue and I hope it reaches some people out there. I would be highly cautious of going to the store. Go somewhere else! The store is Full of deceitfulness and lies....

For 1-3/4 years this store in Washington was very curtious and helpful. Starting ib January, this store has worked on being very resentful and finally rude and unwilling to help me. Someone has been breaking into my phone and blocking me out. I found myself opening my phone in the morning and finding it unuseable once every week. It let up about 2 weeks. This Tuesday, my phone was totally a different setup then what I had used for 20 years with this company and other company's. I went to the tge same AT&T store in Washington, PA for help. A young woman who I had never seen in this store before came to help me. She started by telling me I had too much in my phone. My reply was the truth.....I hab not put all thar in my phone. She told me nit to be so irritable. I replied that someond had done all this to me and I needed help fixing it because I was too old to know how to fix what I hadn't done to rhe phone. She told me that the store doesn't help people who pay for AT&T servise. They only sell phones. I couldn't ever return to the store.

This store in Washington refuses to acknowledge their problem and throws customers out. This is mot a store who is worth your time or money! There are other businesses in or near Washington who behave as good business people. I highly you recomend other places to use other phone...
