Pennsylvania Department of Transportation - Driver and Photo License Center, Washington — Local services in South Strabane Township

I live in Washington, PA and am working on getting my motorcycle permit.. and yeah, whoever the one guy is at this DMV, he has zero patience and literally yelled at me when I was being polite. Just came in to take motorcycle permit test again today and different employee told me he wasn't administering the test correctly and that he gave me vision before letting me take computer test was the opposite of usual.

Guy at front just told me to go over to testing area.. I walked over and put my jacket over there, stood and waited.. guy scolds me.. says, "Come here. Don't go over there. You come over here."

I didnt have my contacts in, and I had lazy eye surgery when I was a kid, and I have trouble focusing with both eyes with once in those machines. Therefore, I only had my left eye open at the time and could only see first two rows since thats all you can see with left eye.

I asked him if maybe he could take a look and verify that there were 3 rows... He starts yelling, "I do this all the time, sir!" I had to politely ask to get it verified. Guy next to him was just surprised.

The one other review mentioned an employee named Roy that fit the description exactly (from user named Danielle) She isn't exaggerating. The guy huffs and puffs and throws a fit over asking normal questions. It isnt acceptable to act like that.

He did start to chill out a little bit after that when he saw that it was making me uncomfortable.. I would hate to see...

If I could give no stars that what I would rate them base on my experience there. Fail me because I stop to make sure no was walking in front the crossroad, told me I could of caused an accident. Plus she didn't even say thank you to me for opening the door for her was shouting the directions at me and told me to drive faster overall very rude and I felt like I was a prisoner or something. Inaddition the girl ,was a Asian girl like myself ,who took the test before me had made a lot of little mistakes that she took of point for like not going as soon as the light turned green. I over heard this because when the instructor came in talked about her very loudly to the other staffs while the girl was still standing there. Overall the female instructor was very rude and racist because my friend who also took the test that day an hour after I left pass even when she hit the curb when parallel parking.while my friend made it to the part where she parallel parked , Mine you I hadn't even got the chance to drive out on the road or even parallel park yet when the instructor failed me. She was very unhappy from the very start when she left the build and was trying to fail me with any little reason. Now I have to wait another month to take the test and miss a school day because of that female instructor racism and difficult personality. P. S she fail 6 people during...

After reading reviews my anxiety was overly high. I normally don't do well in these situations of name change and a simple Id. I brought so many documents and still didn't have most of what I needed. Kristen is who helped us and she went above and beyond to help me figure out what I could use or had available to get. My life's been using 2 names now for 4 years so I was a messy situation trust me. She was the absolute sweetest and worked very well with my husband as well to get the right things. We took way more time than we should of from her and she never once was annoyed at all and stayed so helpful and positive. I forget the name of the guy who helped us at picture station but he was just as awesome. Helped me through a complete new process to me, and was so kind and warming. Through my crazy anxiety I some how ended up leaving without my physical Id and Kristen saved the day and called me to come retrieve it. I was met by smiles from her and also the same guy who helped me at picture counter. Wished I could remember his name. They were an awesome set to work with. I also can't forget the sweet lady who greets you at the door to help you on where to go or needing a ticket. All in all great team of people.
