This place is disgusting. They had one person working she did not wear gloves or wash her hands . I did not realize she wasn’t wearing gloves until I saw her making my shake, she had already made my ice cream. When giving me my shake she put her had on the top of the lid touching the whip cream. I asked for a new lid she caught a attitude and asked if there was a problem with the one she gave me. I stated that I was a germaphobe and was really grossed out by her touching the top without gloves .she stated she used hand sanitizer as she thought that was a substitute for washing her hands . I told her it was not the same and she went to grab a new lid but seemed very annoyed and offended I said something.. I was so grossed out. We ended up throwing away out shake and ice cream once we left the store. Terrible hygiene. I understand the pandemic is not a major concern any longer but that doesn’t mean we can completely discard proper hygiene. I was very disappointed with this visit as I usually love Ben and Jerry’s . Will not be returning and will be...
Read moreMy powers of invisibility were activated in this establishment. But more annoying than that - apparently they will give you one scoop of ice cream if you ask for it for a child. However they don’t tell you until you get to the register that you still have to pay the price for 2 scoops. Which is 6.00. A third of a cup of ice cream. For 6.00. My kid was already eating it - and I am very fat. I didn’t want the second scoop that I apparently had to pay for. I’d rather get fat on lattes and sandwiches. She liked it though. I didn’t complain. I paid it. But I won’t be back. We enjoy the drive to Salem Valley Farms and will just continue to go there. It’s a little bit far away for us. But I get lo listen to my kids play their music a little too loud and hear about their lives. We rarely get to do that. Where the ice cream is very good (albeit not as good) And I can get a single scoop of ice cream for 3.50 or...
Read moreDon’t offer online ordering if you don’t make the orders! I was bringing my daughter home from a root canal and she wanted a milkshake. I ordered ahead so I could just run in, grab it, and get my kid home. The site said my order would be ready around 6:40. I got there a little early, so I stayed in the car for a few minutes. When I went inside, I didn’t see a sign for online pickup, so I waited to catch the worker’s eye and asked where to pick up my order. She told me I have to wait my turn in line because they have to treat everyone equally. I thought maybe she misunderstood me, so I said that I had already ordered and it should be ready. She said no, they don’t make online orders until you’re there, and I have to wait my turn. Why the heck even offer online ordering?! And she was so snide! I wish I could have taken...
