(June 24, 2020) First time visiting Desoto Snow & Creamery - went in the afternoon and they were fairly packed, FYI. Line was not long at first, because the majority of the customers were seated/standing waiting on their order. I ordered a lavender honey milkshake and my friend ordered a monkey business stuffed snowball. I received my shake within 5 minutes of ordering, but my friend waited over 30 minutes to receive his snow cone... Also, none of the employees had on masks, gloves, or hair nets/hats. I watched 2 employees running their bare hands through their hair prior to scooping and serving ice cream directly to customers. We were not disappointed with the taste and quality, just not sure if the wait time or health concerns...
Read morePosted July 26 2020 Hi, I visited DSC yesterday (Saturday) with my family, and all the problems mentioned in the 1 star reviews have been eliminated. Masks and gloves are being worn. Hair is pulled up in a hat, and the service is EXTREMELY fast. There was a line nearly out the door and we were in and out in 6 minutes. Also, portions are well above other shops in the same category. I ordered a medium tiger's blood for $4 and it was more than enough. I hated to look and see the bad review the store was given just because of the early Covid issues. Everything is running smoothly and I hope this review encourages...
