Cadeau Chocolate Town — Local services in Southaven

No accountability! I placed an order for 6 Dubai chocolate fruit cups. I got 6 chocolate fruit cups instead. No big deal. Called back to get corrected with the info that I'll bring them back AND pay the difference. The clerk said we ordered chocolate fruit cups. I corrected her and she insisted. I decided to let it go to try the "infamous Dubai chocolate fruit cup". The clerk stated no need to bring back the other cups and no difference would be needed. Awesome, right? Apparently, she did not run it by the owner or whatever. When i go to pick up the cups, she wants the other cups and the difference. I advised I can pay the difference, no problem, but the cups were not available at the moment. She's going back and forth with her clerk and somehow decides to try and turn it on me. Keep in mind, she was not there during the order. But wants to go back and forth about what was ordered. I advised, that's fine. What should we do now. I again offered the difference but reminded her that I've drove 2 times here from work and will not drive a 3rd as i could have brought back the first time. It was not headed in a good direction so i just asked for a refund and thanked her. She just stared, still trying to explain something that she was not present for and that the clerk is new. I just asvised it's not important and asked for refund, only then did she let it go. FF to today, i came to return an oil i bought that same day, Friday. It didn't work for me. Again, once she realized who I was, she then calls "THE SAME CLERK" with the same mess. I listened, but when that clerk lied again, I told her what it was. I said it's OK to make a mistake, but to lie, to continue a blatant lie when we'd called 2 days in a row for Dubai chocolate cups, now we order fruit and chocolate and even charged for them but given lesser valued product. I told the owner I did not come for this. The owner continued to push this on me and I refused to talk anymore about it. I asked her to just give me a refund as she said and she just refused until I left. I called a friend in law enforcement to come and be a witness. This lady then comes outside, swearing before God she was only trying to help. I just asked for the refund, but she only wanted me to come inside, tried to grab me and more. I told her I did not feel comfortable and would not step a foot inside that business. To just hand me the refund as she's making a scene and a problem where there was none. After she heard my friend, she then asked to speak with him, I declined and asked for my refund to be handed to me thru the door. This went on longer than it should have. Cadeau Chocolate Town was an awesome experience. The atmosphere was so pleasant. I got a chance to meet the owners of this business downright good people. Mr. Cadeau named me Windy Because it was cold down there in Southhaven Mississippi I told him I was from Chicago and he said I brought the windy weather. Lol we laughed. F.Y.I they have diet chocolate. I bought some because I wanted to experience a lot of their different chocolates that they have. It was dark chocolate and it was really good so I was able to get two pieces of the diet and then the regular for the rest of my order. They have the Dubai chocolate. That I love so much. The overall price tag was around $35 and some odd sent. Different pieces of chocolate, so it kind of panned out. Place is so beautiful everything that’s in the store and on the display is actually for sale. The owner, his wife can make practically anything you want her to make for whatever event whatever theme she can do it. It would a be beautiful chocolate display. Weddings, baby showers, office events, receptions you name it she can do it. I highly recommend you go and experience this chocolate. Thank you Cadeau For making my evening yesterday, five stars. First time visiting was Saturday. My experience was superb! The young lady that assisted me was the absolute nicest and most welcoming which is the reason I decided to visit again on Monday. On Saturday, I spent about $24 on the pistachio cup with a stick of the Dubai candy bar. To me, it was worth it! So I went back Monday, same order which totaled about $20, I didn’t get the candy bar. This time the strawberries were a little mushy and I had little to no pistachio, which I paid extra for more pistachio. It was storming so I didn’t go back in; I just picked the mushy berries out and made the best of it. If I go back, Ill probably try the weekend again, my experience was much better and the young lady really made sure I was satisfied for the amount of money spent...
