Taco Fiesta fast casual mexican — Restaurant in Southaven

Customer service is always subpar. I dont expect super friendly/smiley service as it's not Disney, but I do expect to be acknowledged and treated as a somewhat valued customer. Today I called to place an order for pickup and, as I have never ordered from the breakfast menu, I had a question. I ordered then asked my question then began to tell him what else I wanted. Instead of asking me to hold or just not answering my call at all (or any other polite option), the guy on the phone rudely and impatiently cut me off mid sentence to tell me he had a long line and to call back. Obviously the literal one minute long call was taking up too much of his time, although I was ordering like anyone else and if that was an issue he should have said so when he answered. It costs nothing to be a decent person. I wont waste my time calling back or my money patronizing there again. Food has been decent previously though.

Edited to add: I absolutely understand getting slammed and how stressful that can be. I just take issue with how it was handled. Don't start taking someone's order THEN cut them off AS THEY'RE ORDERING to tell them to call back "because there's a long line". Maybe just don't answer the phone during a rush if you can't be adaptable, courteous, communicate efficiently with customers, or handle the call due to low staffing. Like I said, the food isn't terrible, but it also isn't good enough to keep coming back when the person taking your order always seems like they'd rather be doing anything else. The young lady/girl that took our order and served us was very rude. We went for lunch. My daughter arrived before I did. It started with her rushing to take her order. So, I told her she could go on and order for me. When I arrived, I realized my tacos were on corn tortillas. So, I went to the front saying my daughter ordered for me I didn’t think to tell flour tortillas, asked if I could get flour and that I would pay. This girl began to roll her neck telling me she didn’t ask for flour. I’m shock at this time!!! So I said, nor did you give her the option. She said I don’t ask what you want you tell me, as she continued to roll her neck! That is the absolute Worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life!!!!!!!!! She doesn’t need to be anywhere working with your customers. The ticket list “Mayra” as the server. She needs to be in a customer service training workshop or out the door. I will never return or order online...

Taco Fiesta on Getwell Road in Southaven is without question the best Mexican restaurant around. The food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and served fast—but the real star of the show is the sauce bar. If you haven’t tried the green house jalapeño sauce, do yourself a favor and fix that immediately. It’s so good you’ll want to take the whole tub home—spicy, creamy, and absolutely addictive.
