We moved into a condo complex near the store about 4 years ago. Almost every day we would pass this store always saying that someday when I am engaged to be married we want to go into this boutique and shop for a wedding dress (before I had even met my now fiancé). Now that I am engaged, we decided it was finally time to check out this little hidden gem that we have been dying to see for years. This was the very first place we went to for a wedding dress with no expectation to find something. Right away, Vinnie and Elvin were so wonderful to us and were the sweetest people to have ever worked with. Vinnie really took in every detail that I have dreamt of or thought of for a dress. She was amazing to talk to and connect with. She was such a genuine and very kind person. Vinnie has an incredible eye when she hand picks dresses for her brides to be, ensuring that they feel beautiful in everything they put on. After great patience with us and many dresses later, we found THE ONE! After we went home, my mother and I were doing more research on my dress and had a minor panic moment when the online pictures looked nothing like the dress we had just bought and envisioned on my wedding day. We called and left a message knowing they were already closed. Not even 5 minutes later, Vinnie had called us back to ensure and comfort us that we did indeed buy the dress that we had dreamt of. Just outstanding costumer service.

When I started my wedding dress search, I googled salons and found Ashley and Alexandria’s Bridal Salon. I decided to book an appointment based on their good reviews. From the get go, the owners (Vinnie and Elvin) treated me like family. Vinnie asked me what look/style I was going for and brought out dresses for me to try on. Her salon is very small and doesn’t have a ton of dresses in bags smashed together to try and dig through. Honestly, stores like that overwhelm me anyways.

Because the salon is only run by her and her husband, when you make an appointment you are the only customer in the salon, the appointments are private and the time is solely spent on you. I like the second dress I tried on there, but wasn’t ready to make the purchase, so I went to a couple other salons after to compare and I was so disappointed with the other salons. Other salons have several workers and most of them don’t care to help (and you need help when trying on dresses like that!!). From what I heard from other brides, you are dealing with different people every time you go in for fittings, etc.

Anyways, I went back to the salon and purchased that dress and I also purchased my bridesmaid dresses there as well. I went there several times for my dress fittings and bridesmaid dress fittings and I had nothing but good experiences. Olga, the seamstress did a great job on my dress. She added in cups so I didn’t have to wear and bra and also created a jacket for me to wear at the church.

Outstanding service! After trying on gowns at various Birmingham and West Bloomfield bridal boutiques, Ashely & Alexandria's was the diamond in the rough. The other boutiques were more focused on getting a quick sale as opposed to making my experience pleasant and meaningful. Enter Vinnie. I was greeted warmly when I entered her adorable boutique, and as I walked into the fitting room, I was blown away to see gowns upon gowns waiting for me. I had emailed her in advance due to my interest in Enzoani gowns and she was quick to respond and boy did she deliver. I wasn't rushed, she wasn't disinterested, but listened to what I had to say as well as my family's input, and was genuine and accommodating throughout my entire appointment, never once pushing me into a sale or pressuring me. Fantastic selection, various styles within my price range and an incredible seamstress (even though it was a little pricey, it was worth having them done in house as the bodice and hem of my dress were perfection after the alterations). When I did decide on a dress (I don't want to spoil it) but what they did to celebrate was icing on the cake, I won't ruin it for future shoppers. I was on a time crunch and Vinnie knew to the date when I could expect my gown and veil in. She was on top of it and always an email away if I needed anything.
