Smokers Only — Local services in Southfield

Bought a weed pen from here and three days later it exploded lying next to me in my seat where the liquid base meets the battery, destroyed the product, and burned a hole in my seat that I have to look at every day.

I tried to return this over-priced, dangerous product and was publicly accosted and treated like a criminal by the staff and manager fraudulently claiming "I must have dropped the pen and broke it", threatening and humiliating me in front of other customers, and doing everything they could to get away with this very terrifying issue.

So, I have escalated this issue to the FTC and the Michigan Cannabis Regulatory Agency to investigate this fraud, inspect the exploded product, and investigate why this retailer refused to give me my money back for this dangerous, defective product that they lied on camera and claimed it had never happened before when you can clearly read the reviews and see that other customers have publicly stated they too have bought defective products from this retailer and have also been treated like a criminal and kicked out just like I was when we asked for our money back, which was our legal right.

I rarely go out of my way to give a Yelp review. However, after coming across this well kept secret GEM in Southfield, I felt like I had to give this spot all the LOVE they deserve. Hidden Away in Southfield is one of the best stocked Humidors in the Metro area. Let me start by saying the owner, Tom, was well versed, in cigars, and went out of his way to see to my needs. He has all of the high quality brands like Olivia, Flathead, Montecristo, RP...etc. but the kicker is he also has those rare sticks that most Cigar Spots miss. I was like a kid in a Candy Store and walked out with a bunch of my favorites. He was such a great guy he even gave me a house cigar to try and a beautiful ashtray! What a place, what a facilitator of choice smokes. It's my new place in the city from now on. Amazing customer service and a well hidden treasure. Gotta give him a try.

There are many shops like this around town, but 'SO' of Southfield stands out for a few reasons. They carry a very wide variety of products. I do not know what a lot of these things are for, as I typically just visit the walk-in Cigar humidor, but there is much to look at, and everything is very well organized, bright, and clean/well maintained. Customer service is exceptional; staff is very friendly and helpful, and seems to really care about their customers. They also seem to value repeat customers; when stock of certain items gets low, they typically communicate their intent to order more and replenish, which I appreciate since I usually buy the same thing.
