BEWARE OF THIS STORE! This new site appears to be in an old pharmacy building in the corner. Great location. BEWARE OF THEIR BAIT AND SWITCH HERE!! Went about 5pm opening day and it was packed. All the cash registers were operated and the long line to check out went down a couple of clothing isles. All of the price tags were not the original Goodwill tags I'm used to seeing. They were tiny colored price-gun tags that were hard to see. I found items where the old Goodwill tags were kind of ripped off or covered up with the new tiny tags. The new prices were all marked up at least a dollar more then the old prices! I'm not the only person who saw this. Several others were talking about it also. I caught the President outside at the entrance and asked him about this. He said it was their "new pricing system." Everything in the store mostly started at $1.99 and continued up at $2.99, $3.99, $4.99, $5.99 etc. Does this remind you of another store? The Dollar stores. There was an owl sitting on the shelf and a woman picked it up and commented that it was a Dollar Tree owl. Goodwill had it priced $1.99 and you can buy it new for $1 at Dollar Tree. I got a stack of 3 little plastic containers with an old price tag of $.99 on them, but a new tiny price tag was put over it showing $1.99. I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND THIS STORE TO ANYONE UNTIL THEY STOP...
Read moreWent in to grab a shirt. Saw the brand new socks for $2.49 (or something close to that) went to the register and they rang up at over $4. When I said that the socks are tagged at the lower cost the gentleman at the register said he doesnât make the prices. But I didnât ask him to make prices I asked him to charge the price on the stickers (thereâs a whole wall of socks at this price) the manager came over and said I have to pay what they ring up as or donât buy them. The whole exchange was rude. Good luck to this location but they arenât for me Iâll just go to the Salvation Army down the street if I feel...
Read moreThis Goodwill is a little smaller than most of the others I've been to. It sits on the southwest corner of 12 mile and Greenfield, where the Walgreens used to be.
The store was relatively neat and well stocked. Most things I found were over priced. They do have some new items, am entire wall full of new Sox, new dog toys, a selection of new knock off Crocs.
No large furniture!!
Although no one was at the register when I walked up and I took them a few minutes to arrive, checkout was smooth and the cashier was nice.
I will probably return on sale days, they really need to rethink...
