I've been there twice now and had problems both times. I went there during the Stay at Home order because they are close to my home. The 1st visit I ordered calamari which they show as a featured item showing the sauce on the side. When I got home everything was mixed together. I called immediately and was told that the item would be replaced the next time I placed an order. I was told that a note would be behind the counter about this. When I called to place another order I specifically asked about the replacement calamari but the person working could not find anything about this. He asked if I could call back in a few minutes so he would try to get ahold the other person to confirm the replacement. I did call back but he had not yet gotten the confirmation but said he would replace it anyway. I placed another order again including the calamari and asked for the calamari to be plain. This time it was without the sauce mixed in but none was on the side. What I got was not crispy at all , in fact it was extremely soggy and greasy. My order also included another featured item, a Greek salad. What I got was a garden salad. While there was a language barrier, I did not get what I wanted. While I like to give people or businesses a 2nd chance, which I did, but as the old saying goes 3 strikes and you're out. I did not want to strike out and pay as much as I paid for both of my orders and not get what I thought I would. Very frustrating experiences. There are many Mediterranean style restaurants in my immediate area and I will utilize them...
Read moreA comfortable space in a shopping center. The lighting is restrained, so wearing sunglasses inside is not needed. Some of the booths need re-upholstering. There are 5 booths for up to 4 people & 1 big table that will handle eight. A wheelchair can easily use the end of all of them or simply move a chair at the low-top. The menu is well laid out, with good descriptions of all the items offered, several with pictures. There is a kid's section, also. No music playing and the sounds from the kitchen are low, so conversations are easy, and if you want a quiet meal, you'll get it. Saw a dish I'd not seen before: calamari but with tomatoes, onion, and black olives. It's kind of like an Italian or Greek dish but noticeably different. Delicious! Of course, the requisite Lebanese bread & garlic dip is included. The path to the restrooms is a bit tight, wheelchairs might...
Read moreWanted to try it, first of all the service was very nice, the employee who took care of us was extremely pleasant. That said, it was kind of pricy so I thought that would equal good food. But nothing was very tasty. The bread and toum was alright, the sample appetizer came on one plate, so all the dressing and oil from our fattoush made the hummus and baba very soupy. Which it was super soupy anyway, way too much oil in there, guys. The falafel plate was terrible, the guy said it's a new recipe and bless his heart for trying to make it better but they were hard as a rock and so dry inside once open they crumbled to pieces. Strange flavor also, I just don't care for the nutty, brown, dry falafel. We did not get charged for the plate and had it wrapped up for donation. Go to Dearborn or Detroit for something truly authentic...
