After having stopped at two other jewelers in the area, I stumbled onto Renees Fine Jewelry, thanks to Google Maps. I’ve spent the last week trying to find a new band for my Movado watch. Wanting to keep my money locally and not purchase something online @ Amazon , I decided to give Renee’s Fine Jewelry a chance. Not only did I find the perfect watch band , it was literally a 1/3 of the price that I thought I would pay. Thrilled to have found the band , I left my watch there with them so they could switch the bands out from old to new. They gave me a ticket and for security purposes, even took a photo of the expensive watch for security reasons ( I have never seen that done before) They told me that the watch would be ready by the next day. I told them I was so grateful to have found a band that they could take their time and I wasn’t in a hurry. Well, a couple hours later to my surprise , the watch was ready to be picked up. I’m very satisfied with the end results. The salesperson who helped me pick out the band had a great eye and the results were beyond what I could have hoped for. This business has “the secret sauce” to keep customers coming back. They under committed and over delivered and as a result , this is the place I’ll be going back to should the need arise. There is no substitute for seeing a product before purchasing it . Although big box stores like Amazon are a necessary evil, nothing beats home town hospitality and good ole one on one shopping. I was in a pretty bad rollover Jeep accident in April of 2024. My engagement ring band broke (most likely from the air bag impact that also broke two bones in my hand), and about 8 of the prongs for my engagement and wedding rings were damaged. The bands on both were also scuffed along the asphalt of the road after the top and windows broke during the event. I took them to Renee's because she has always taken great care of me over the years. I didn't allow myself any expectations because it was a really bad car accident, but I almost felt re-traumatized every time I looked at them. However, the repairs she was able to do for my rings far exceeded any magic I thought possible! My rings looked like new!! There's a little tell-tell sign of the break in the band, but it is so subtle that if you didn't know, you never would. I'm beyond thankful and pleased with how wonderfully she repaired my rings. I originally posted a glowing review of Renee Jewellers and I returned to get my Movado watch fixed (I’ve had it for 25 years) - it was sent out to her watch repair twice and both times broke within a week. I was also advised any repairs would be movado parts. A gentleman in the store told me I would receive a refund for what I had paid. When I spoke to Renee about this, she would not honor that refund. She treated me very disrespectfully which I was shocked - I own a small business, and would never treat a customer like this. I ended up sending the watch to Movado, and they said it was irreparable because the last person to repair it had used generic parts and glued things together.
