I was in the store in early January to return an item. After I left and was driving home I had a sick feeling I’d left something very important to me in the bag - baby pictures of my daughter who was adopted from China. I called the store immediately and described the problem to the young man who helped me just a few minutes before. He offered to look through the most recently-returned bags in the recycle bin but found nothing. I told him how important it was that I find these pictures and I would return to look myself. As soon as I arrived, and I was feeling almost panicked, he told me his boss, a woman named Olivia, searched in another container and found my pictures. After many, many unsuccessful attempts to get through to the Orem target, I called this location to check product availability. After just a couple rings at the guest services desk, a polite voice answered the phone. He checked not just in the system, but also personally went to the back and looked through their inventory for me. Good thing, because he didn't find any even though their system said they had two. They didn't have the item I needed, but they were very nice and worked hard to help. It's amazing what a difference even having one person at a desk ready to answer the phone can do. We went through self checkout and requested $20 back - the machine wouldn’t give it back and after about 20 minutes of everyone trying to decide if they could help us we left. You literally stole $20 from me. If I did that at your store I’d be talking to police. So why can you do that to customers. Also how ridiculous that they were trying to decide “if” they could help us. Like dude take $20 out of til and then figure it out when you get the machine working again.
