The teck was friendly, on time, he didn't give me his name,quick with fair estimate. I Asked if anyway to do it today? He called office., came back with a," yes "and he'd have to rewrite estimate. I questioned it, in my mind, but assumed (we all know what that means) I miss understood. He opened wall, I stepped in to see progress. Tech explained what I was looking at and he didn't have parts on truck,he'd have to go get them.i don't know where he went but was gone just over an hour. 2 hardware stores within 20 min.(there & back) from my house. When he got back he asked," if he could use microwave to heat up lunch?" I said,"sure" .everyone deserves a hot lunch. He said ," give me 15 mins to eat." When he was back,15 mins.) I called him by the name of the teck I was told would be coming. Oh, he called out,then he gave me his name. I said, "you should've said that to begin with." He just said,sorry, and ,said" this won't take much longer." When he called me to say,he was done I stepped in and there's another smallish hole under the big one . He's quick to explain he can't cover the small one, he doesn't have a cover like the big one. I asked why he can't use the piece he cut out? He doesn't have the materials on his truck. When YOU(meaning me) put the shelves back they'll cover the hole. Yah,I had to move shelves(I'm 70) out and back. NOT HAPPY. Oh, did I mention, I'm a woman? I told him ,"I'll fix the hole with what he cut out for big hole." SHAKING MY HEAD. Handed bill. Twice what estimate was. When questioned why. He said it was for parts. Why weren't they listed on receipt? I need it for insurance. We don't do it that way, and this is your quote. We went back and forth and got nowhere. I signed but he knew I was pissed I called office and got the run around,and lame answers. Was told he would talk to teck about not communicating and they keep all receipts. Boss said he'd call next day after conversation with teck. He did call but once again the lies and lame excuses got us nowhere with no resolutions. We wrote down time he arrived ,left for parts, back from parts, ate lunch, and finished work and left. Told we were undercharged and if Insurance Co. Knew they'd have to charge us more.    Read moreCalled late October about slow draining pipes in our rental. Scheduled for the day before Thanksgiving, the tech said oh you need to wait 2 full weeks because we used draino. When I explained we used it in October and definitely not within the last 2 weeks he said he already canceled the job. 2 weeks go by, no word from Jet. Finally beginning of January they just showed up at my rental, my mother in law who is home bound and lives there, called me and let me know they were wanting to do the job. I called the office wanting to know why they think after no showing they can just show up 6 weeks later and get the job done with zero notice.
Talked to a manager, I allowed Jet to do their thing. Tech calls me 2 hours later saying they can't fix our issue, that we need to pay $500 for them to bring out a camera in 3 weeks because they found no clog.
I told them no thank you. And went about life. My husband bought a snake at lowes and found the clog in probably 30 minutes.
Fast forward 6 months. I get a payment demand for $500. Even though they couldn't "fix" the draining issue they wanted me to pay for 3 men working for 4 hours. When I explained there was never 3 men, only 1 and that they didn't fix what they were called for originally. Spoke to a manager again who said that even though the tech left saying no payment due just their "travel time" that they never told us about as we live in Fernley. Also Paid the travel time on the day of service.
Manager said well let's meet in the middle and the bill I'm paying is $200. Ok fine, paid it. A YEAR later I get another demand letter for $200. These people don't know how to run a snake on drains much less do accurate billing! Had they just snaked the drains INSIDE the house our problems would have been fixed but they insisted they needed to snake from the exit pipe on our house to the street. Never attempted to clean out the drains within the walls of the home.

   Read moreBEWARE!!! This company started out seeming ok but then things turned around real fast. We had an appointment for a Friday to have a water heater replaced and our pipes fixed. They said they would be here between 10 and 12. Its 1230pm and they were not here yet. I call them and they acknowledged that i had an appointment but there must have been a glitch in the system and my appointment got deleted somehow. The manager said that he can send someone on the Saturday but then i would be forced to pay the higher rates. I asked why i would have pay the higher rates when the company was the one that messed up. He said "because its Saturday and those are just the rates". He finally said "well i will do Monday then and give you a 100 dollar discount". Are you kidding me, i get a 100 dollar discount for your mistake and i go another 3 days with no hot water. This manager and the employees never apologized and were so rude. I ended up calling another company and told them what was going on. After hearing my story they said "let me guess, it was Jet Plumbing". That actually made me laugh and they felt bad for my situation right away. They came out on Saturday and charged me regular rates to help me out. Jet was going to charge at least 2,150 for the work. I ended up getting it done for about 1,200 with the new company. Saved a lot of money. Stay away from this company. Very rude...
