I made an appointment online for a couple of services since I was curious about the salt cave. My appointment time was 9am, I showed up right around 8:30 so I could get any paperwork done and maybe enjoy some salt time! It was cold and I was ready to be WARM! Doors were unlocked, lights on, but no one to greet me. I jiggled my keys, coughed, cleared my throat a few times hoping someone would hear me. Nobody ever came out to check me in. Nobody there to explain how to enjoy salt cave. I would have left but they had my credit card info and I did not want to deal with a dispute. Finally at 8:50 my girl came out and took me back. My treatments were fine but I am not impressed by the running of front. I love to visit spas, and I expect a bit of pampering and relaxation. I did not get that here. After my mud wrap, I showered and the towels smelled bad. Musty? Not pleasant! Finally at checkout, 3 staff members hanging out out front. I wondered out loud where were you earlier? Nothing included with your treatments. No salt cave time. That is EXTRA! My treatments were done by Cathy, she was very apologetic and she did a good job! She also gave me a complimentary bag of salt. I am off to Las Vegas to try a new spa! Stay tuned.

After traveling over 3,000 miles on a motorcycle over 7 days I was ready to relax and do something good for my body and the salt cave was just what we needed. Our session was 45 mins and that was the perfect amount of time. We loved the reclining chairs so much I took a picture of the tag so we could purchase them for our lanai in Florida! We had been really suffering with our sinuses by being on the road with full helmets and different climates, rain and road grime but as soon as the salt machine came on we cleared tight up! Other than that you don’t feel any certain way after just relaxed and kind of energetic but not in a caffeine kind of way if that makes sense to be relaxed and energetic at the same time. I loved the over all sense of serenity in the slat cave and have added it to my dream home building plans. Come on Lotto! *IMPORTANT* Make reservations ahead of time because they book up quick

Was treated to a microdermabrasion facial with Connie. Upon walking in, was greeted with relaxing music and aromatherapy. While waiting, my feet sat on a hested Himalayan salt stone. There were drinks and healthy snack mix. Great atmosphere! Facial was good. Connie asked the right questions to be able to customize the correct products for my skin type. The scalp/neck massage during the facial mask was heavenly. My only regret is not living there to go on a monthly basis! Great selection of skim care & wellness items available for purchase.

I was excited to try out the massage and salt cave as I have heard some good things about it. I’m not sure what others expect but I expect relaxation and hopefully a good customer service experience along with a relaxing massage. I didn’t get that! I have high expectations for a massage as there is a massage therapist in my family. My massage was fine but had a few issues. First I can’t tell you who did my massage as she didn’t introduce herself. No smile! No personal connection to try to set me in a relaxing mood! I will say she listened when I explained that I had a terrible headache. She started with the back of my head and neck to help me and I really appreciate that! During the massage there were many disconnected moments! That is not relaxing! Push push push then abruptly move to new spot! Good massage therapist’s gingerly leave their hand on the spot before moving on to next part of the body as to connect and relax.my massage started late and no apology or acknowledgment of that. My sister had massage at same time and as we discussed it, hers was not bad but there was no connection and abrupt movements for her as well. We had no guidance as to what is expected in salt room. My lady did say we could lay down. Not sure about healthy treatment as we just sat in outside reclining chairs. We were not told even the amount of time we were allowed for appointment. I was given a half of glass of water after massage. We were thirsty and music with people singing was giving me back my headache so we left the salt cave. Didn’t see my massage therapist again. The receptionist apologized for the music being too loud and said they would have turned it down. Would’ve been nice to have some customer service at the beginning and throughout! Put water in your salt room for customers! And turn down the annoying music! Sounds of nature music is better and keep it at a lower volume! I won’t be back .

Addendum to review: 6/23/25 After my review posted, the owner reached out which I really appreciate!! There are a lot of places that really don’t care about the actual customer. Although some of her massage therapists need a little more training on a relaxing massage and training on interactions with customers, the owner truly cares and wants to make sure her customers are happy! Therefore I added another star...

Horrible customer service. We plan a trip once a year to Spearfish. Last year we booked a couples massage and salt cave experience for today since it is Rally time. I called in June to confirm the appointment. I called again today at noon to confirm. We get there and they say they don’t even have it in the system as ever being booked. The lady at the front was unhelpful. Then a massage therapist came out and huffed at me and my husband as I ask for how they are going to make it right. She said we could come back 2 hours later. Which was fine until she did her little huff. We took the entire day off of doing things around the Hills to be there for our appointment which we already had confirmed TWICE. I call the owner and she says they had it blocked off but not scheduled for yesterday (which was not the date and time we scheduled) and had told her employees to figure out why it was blocked off. We didn’t get a phone call or anything. We could have taken yesterday to be there. The entire experience was awful. We will not be coming back especially how we were treated. Not a place to relax. We looked forward to this all year. The fact that the therapist huffed at us and walked away was enough to make me write my review. Extremely disrespectful and not someone I want...
