False Bottom Beer Liquor Billiards — Restaurant in Spearfish

Let me be clear — I’ve always supported this place. The owners and the staff have been great, and I’ve had nothing but good experiences with them in the past. That said, I’m extremely disappointed with how one manager handled a recent situation.

I was banned over an incident that didn’t even happen at this bar. The manager claimed he “saw what happened,” but he was only present where I was because a girl he likes works at the other establishment — and he’s friends with the person involved. Instead of speaking to me directly or getting both sides, he made a snap judgment and banned me without a conversation.

This wasn’t about keeping peace or protecting the bar — it was personal bias, plain and simple. I’m calling out the manager’s actions, not the business as a whole. I hope the owners take a closer look at how these situations are being handled, because this kind of unprofessionalism reflects poorly on an otherwise...

I can't rate the food since we didn't have any. But they have small pizzas that they can warm. They do allow outside food. The beer selection is decent. They have N/A beers which is nice! The service was a bit slow. None of the bartenders were in a rush to make tips for sure. While I waited they served a couple other folks who had just walked up while I waited a while.

Been coming here for years, but my last visit was HORRID. Tipped the bartender 10$ (on a 5$ tab) and some extra pocket change I had. Bartenders had an absolute fit about this. Talked about it (while we were still right there) to other customers who then proceeded to cause a scene. I wish I would’ve taken back my tip and just left the change. Tipped over 200%.
