I was at the Spokane Valley Mall Box Lunch store looking for a present for my mom. She loves Totoro and the selection there was great. What really made me want to post this review is the excellent customer service. I had picked out a couple items that were on the more inexpensive side, but couldn't take my eyes off of an amazing green Totoro sweater. It was in my moms size and just gorgeous. Only it was super expensive. I stood there staring at it for what felt like forever, trying to justify the price, when a very nice employee came up to me and asked if I needed help. I explained that I wanted it but it cost a lot and she offered to check if it was on sale online and that if it was she would price match it for me. I didn't even ask her to do that. It was so nice of her. And it was on sale! I then signed up for their store program after she told me it would get me another 10% off. I know to a lot of people 20 dollars may not matter so much but it mattered to me. What she did for me that day was so nice and thoughtful and not something most retail workers would care enough to do these days. This store is adorable! I love everything they have. Total nostalgia items! Staff was nice! Minus the girl sitting at a table sitting at the door. She had total RBF. Even after smiling at her. She just glared. We weren't going to go in because of her. On our way out of the mall she was gone. So we went in. Glad we did! Highly recommend visiting this BoxLunch location! Out of all the locations I've been to, this one is by far my favorite from the friendly sales associates to how open and welcoming the store feels. BoxLunch has quickly become my new favorite store and every time I'm in the area stop by to see what's new and to say hi.
