Flaming Wok — Restaurant in Spokane Valley

I ordered from here through Doordash a couple of times, and I do like the choice to build your own combo. I've done the build your own combo through Doordash and I probably have been around this place a couple times myself at the mall in 2017. And at the end of the day, the person who owns this place is awfully kind and generous, and the price is reasonable. In my experiences, I just do not understand the negative reviews this place has. But I do understand in food service that periodically, mistakes do happen. Personally I won't eat something under cooked but I do understand periodically a mistake or two transpires for any odd reason. If I had to compare this place being employee owned to corporate Panda Express, this is a more authentic version of Panda Express.

As for the food, I do not remember what I ordered in 2017 but when I ordered through Doordash, I ordered the Kung Pao Shrimp, the sweet and sour chicken, and the Spicy beef with fried rice today. And once before through Doordash, I did a similar build your own supreme combo. And in both instances with a large to go foam dish, it was loaded up to the point where they had to put a rubber band around it so it did not pop open. That is a very generous amount of food for a substantially low price. Personally, if I crave Chinese Food and I am at work, I will order from here through Doordash again. This place deserves five stars and is one to come back to in the event you crave...

I ordered the teriyaki chicken and after a couple lukewarm bites I cut open one of the bigger pieces and saw that it was PINK inside. When I went back to the counter to tell the woman working there that I wanted a refund or something else that wouldn't make me sick, she insisted it was "coloring," like they put in pork or beef, which I have never heard of being done to chicken before and sounds like a bad lie (to her credit, she gave me a different chicken dish that was white on the inside). I spent the entire next day drifting in and out of a fever while puking/dry heaving into a bucket next to my bed because I was too weak to walk to the bathroom every time I had to puke. I looked up my symptoms, and I most likely had a Salmonella infection. I recommend going...

Sorry excuse for Asian food. If you’re vegetarian you are stuck with very dry noodles and over-steamed veggies. They don’t have good sauce options to add on. The meat dishes are not much better, and their egg rolls are super greasy. Only one lady running the place when I stopped by. She was short tempered and borderline rude. She dished up my noodles bare handed after handling the previous costumer’s money. 😬 Everything appears to be dingy and not cleaned...
