Sammy's Pit Stop — Local services in Spokane Valley

I have visited Sammy's Pit Shop a handful of times. Great selection, excellent customer service and speedy service! But today.. I pulled into the parking lot with a flat and immediately called my husband for help. The manager (I believe Dan, other reviews say different) was driving by and offered his assistance! He switched out my tire and got me back on the road in no time. He even gave me a little tutorial for the future if I run into this again and someone as kind as him isn't around. It was a hot day and I had my one year old son in the car with me, we are extremely thankful for his act of kindness!! It's super nice having a gas station nearby that stocks some regular grocery items and they have a fine beer and snack section, however I've had numerous instances of getting double charged on items or discounts not reflecting what is advertised. I was double charged today and asked for a receipt after receiving attitude from the worker. Receipt showed I was double charged. He tried to argue otherwise. It's ridiculous to argue with a retail employee about the receipt when it is clear as day written out. The employee then admitted "I don't give a damn" when i asked for it to be corrected. Always an interesting endeavor whenever stopping by.

We broke down and had to park the car after leaving the airport. Didn't have the parts so we had to leave the car over night. Next morning we were fumbling around trying to fix it with the tools we had and the manager Dale popped out and gave us his. He gave us some advise and came out several times to give us some muscle. It was just so nice to have his help and the security of his establishment in Spokane area. We are so thankful he offered his help during a difficult time. Sammy's Pit Stop is a clean and safe space.
