I'm usaully fairly understanding about business not being able to give you a whole lot for your things. But it was a bit insulted by what went down when I had came with a few games, a double barrel 360 power supply some other miscellaneous cords and a brand new factory sealed gaming mouse that is $60. In search or a single barrel power supply. First off the employee (Don't know his name I'd say about 23-27 Y/O male) had proceeded to break open the packaging to inspect the mouse without informing that he was or asking me. I understand them having to check it and everything but without asking me me a bit irritated. Then he offered me less than five dollars (in store credit) for each game, which both games had just came out and sell for $60 a piece, and he offered $8 and some change, again in store credit (about $5 cash) for my gaming mouse and $10 credit for the power supply which I would keep the half of it with the box on it and they would take the double barrel side that plugs into the back of the console and they'd sell me the single barrel end. Remember he had already opened the mouse, which I had brought it up and declining the offer for the mouse and games and selling the console end of the power cord and others, and he said yeah, there's nothing he can do about the mouse that I wasn't happy with the offer or even apologizing about opening it. I have found out they wanted $30 for the single barrel power cord which I was completely shocked. So I left still needing $20 for the power cord. When I got home I remembered that I left the power brick on the counter, went back the next day and had asked about it and the same guy was there everyone denied putting it up or seeing it saying I must've grabbed it and forgot where I put it. I was completely offended by that comment. I understand that it's my fault for leaving the cord and take responsibility of it being gone but them telling me that I took it and must've misplaced it...
Read morePlz do yourself a favor and do not waste your time or $$ to help this very self oriented that is only looking to use and do the customer twisted and left wondering why came to the place! I came looking to sell some Magic The Gathering cards, as they claim to buy, sell, and trade in all your gaming and card needs LOL talk about a joke! First day I walked in and they said unfortunately they already bought from two people that day so they couldn't do any business until the next day, I said not even like whtever will get me $10-$20 as I just ran out gas outside store and it would be cool which received a stearn bring em in tomorrow... ok ok so I show up within a couple hrs of opening and a different guy says we have not sold anything today so we can't buy AT ALL and if we could it would only be at bulk prices as in no matter what card u have you will get at most a penny a piece... a huge difference from the 50% on dollar that the TCG app prices them at which was the understanding only hours before they closed previous night! If you don't understand what's going on here these people are trying to screw you for their gain! Supposedly they have been around years, have best selection and so on and so forth yet can't buy any cards because bought from 2 people one night and then made zero sales the next LOL what a business! Go here at own peril! YOU HAVE BEEN...
Read moreOverall, the store has a lot of neat stuff that you really cant find anywhere else in the area, the only problem is there is a lot of knock off stuff that the store tries to pawn off as legitimate, when in fact they are repro games. Nothing wrong with repro games in general, but the store tries hard to hide the fact they are reproductions and tries to get full price for games that aren't. If you know what you're looking for and know how to spot and distinguish repros from the real deal, its a great little store. Its just a shame how the business decides to be dishonest when it comes to stuff like this and take advantage of those who don't know any better.
It doesn't just end with games however, I bought what I had thought to be a legitimate Japanese import Nintendo Switch Splatoon controller from them a few months ago, I was told it was an authentic Japanese import, and it even came sealed in an authentic box. Unfortunately found out a few months later that the controller wasn't authentic, ended up being a Chinese knock off controller off eBay. Paid $80 for a controller that was supposed to be authentic, ended up being a $20 knock-off.
Overall, I think the store does really have some neat stuff, and it fills a niche that Spokane really doesn't have another option of, I just wish the ownership was more honest and not try to deceive...
