Thomas Hammer Coffee Roasters (L3 Cafeteria) — Restaurant in Spokane

I work at Sacred Heart Hospital and I get coffee from Thomas ham right now for the last maybe 10 years I usually go to the one on the main floor as I followed other coworkers from L3 the main floor is customer service is always excellent I rarely work weekends here at the hospital I just went downstairs to get a coffee there was not even a long line I told her what I wanted a white chocolate mocha breve three shots she said we have to start charging extra for breve right now I said when did we start doing that you guys just stopped she emphasize that she’s the manager now on the main floor and that she will make sure that everybody knows and gets charged I told her that the line on the main floor had already decreased since Ashley the previous manager had left and that maybe she should be more kinder and not so rude as to most the women that get their coffee on that floor working surgery and they are tough cookies she explain to me how she could handle it she’s had many years in customer service all I was trying to do was give a heads up it was the first time ever and counting her and she was very hostile aggressive and rude I am now concerned for the employees that will be working on the main floor for Thomas Hammer they are very kind and sweet I fear that you will lose many employees not only customers and it’s none of our business that minimum wage is going up and that you have to up your prices. After this encounter meant I’m very irritated and agitated for the day you’re supposed to fill fabulous after getting your coffee...

Just ordered a couple drinks for my wife and I. They treated me like an idiot for asking for a 50/50 ratio of cold brew concentrate to water and treat each ounce of cold brew like a pulled shot of espresso and was going to charge me for each extra shot in that 1:1 ratio beverage. An ounce of cold brew is not equal to an ounce of espresso in cost or potency. It wasn't even very good coffee. They were rude to me as if I had no idea what I was asking for telling me it would be way too strong. Dutch bros would never treat anyone like that. In fact, I went straight to Dutch bros and they gave me a drink for my trouble at Thomas hammer. Dutch bros is the best! Do not waste your money at Thomas hammer unless you are desperate...

Sadly, the espresso drinks are often cold, poorly created foam, and overly sweet chocolate syrup. I remember this cafe used to be great, but now, the coffee shots taste weak and watered-down. Cappuccino is watered-down espresso with hot milk. Too expensive for such bad products. Perhaps you could train real barristas. It is a job which requires actual techniques and knowledge. If I received a delicious coffee drink properly crafted, perhaps I would feel better about...
