Poke King is hands down the best poke spot in Spokane, and honestly the only one I’ll keep going back to. It’s family-owned and you can really feel the difference in the care they put into the food, the service, and the atmosphere.
The value here is unbeatable. A large bowl with four scoops is only about $15.26 after tax, and that includes unlimited toppings and sauces. You cannot find that kind of deal anywhere else in Spokane. To put it in perspective, I went to Poke Express a few days ago and paid almost $20 for a smaller portion than what I normally get at Poke King. The difference in both price and quality is huge. Poke King wins every time.
On top of the poke, they also have amazing boba tea, miso soup, and rolled ice cream. It’s the perfect place if you want variety and quality without feeling like you’re getting ripped off.
I’ve probably been to Poke King at least 50 times now, and every single visit has been consistently great. Between the fresh ingredients, generous portions, fair pricing, and genuinely friendly service, I can’t recommend this place enough. If you’re looking for the best poke in Spokane, this is it. Read moreDecent place to get poke. They have a good wide variety of choices of meat, toppings, and sauces. If it is your first time trying, I would recommend rice or spring mix with spicy salmon or eel as meat. They do charge extra for another serving of meat. Toppings I would go with cucumbers, edamame, Cilantro, dry ginger, and avocado. I usually get the hawiian spicy poke sauce or poke sauce is good as well. Explore your options, there is a lot to try until you find your favorite bowl. Their Boba is not that great. It tastes like the bottom of the barrel, maybe I just got that part. I would not recommend their Boba but don't let me stop you. I have not yet tried their rolled ice cream, but I will edit my review once I get a chance to try it out. Service is not all that great. The ones making your bowl does not seem to have patience, I felt rushed making options. There are sits inside some outside for you to dine. It is clean inside....
Read moreThe environment was clean and organized except for the back half filled with boxes-- Maybe a leftover workspace from covid times when people didn't dine there for putting together takeout orders. or maybe a big shipment came in.
The employee who took our order was professional and spoke sufficient English. A worker from the kitchen brought our drinks out with a smile and kind words.
The food was delicious. My stepson wondered what the budget would be to get one for dinner everyday!
My only concern was that the unagi (eel) slices, which needed to be warmed up first in the toaster oven, were not brought to a high enough temperature, so they were just lukewarm. All meat should be warmed to 165 degrees F before serving for safety. It also tastes better that way. I would not mind waiting an extra few...
