Went there for my first concert in years! Many years, since I'm 61 years of age now. Getting in the doors was a bit slow as everyone has to go through the metal detected. So my adventure begins. I'm on oxygen now , and I wear my concentrator in a backpack. Oh boy, I remember the backpack no no from earlier times. But this held LIFE in it. So my time comes and the woman there tells me I have to take the pack off. I told her no can do as I pointed to the cannula in my nose. I told hermit was an oxygen tank that I wear, I need it to breathe with. As she stood there pondering, I said I'll have to go through, the machine WILL alarm, you can look into the little pocket that holds my inhaler and my oximeter. She still stood there trying to decide what to do. Good grief , am I the first person to ever come through the arena gates with oxygen !? Finally, another guard says Let her in! She's fine. Thus, I finally get through. The rest of the time was great, except the $5 water I had to buy. Which again, was an interesting òrdel. No more cash there at the arena. Everything takes a debit card. Even getting things at the counter, one had to use a debit card, no cash.. We enjoyed the concert in those skinny, hard chairs. BONUS! Because we had seats that were on the sides of the sounds stage, we had no people on the other side of us, and we were able to kinda stretch out😅😅 I must state, that the We, I keep talking of were 6 other women and my sister that went to the concert by For King and Country. What a great concert! The sound guys were working hard. The next Bonus was; we were sitting right above where the deaf community sat. W ith the interpreters there to interpret the songs. Wow! They were great. There were two ladies there taking turns with the sign language that was so expressive in song. BONUS Both my sister and I read lips, so when the music got too loud to hear the words, we just watched the interpreter! Thanks Spokane Arena ! So our concert ended with no problem. It was restroom time. I mention this for the ladies out there. The bathrooms are huge! I remembered them with like 4 stalls and everyone has to stand in,long tortuous lines to get in. Now, there are plenty of stalls and hardly any lines. If there are, they're short. What a night to remember! Great concert for this girl and her sister! 👏 Ps my sister really liked it also.

The concert was good. Not great. I'm not sure if that the venue as it was my first time. I've been to hundreds of concerts. But my main take away is the merch sales. Rediolous lines. I got in line immediately. No bathroom breaks, no food or drink. Immediately in the merch line. I missed all of the ashes to new. 1/2 off three days grace (which I love and have seen before) 90 minutes minimum I missed just waiting in line. There has to be a better way. I know my bf didn't get his merch as he was unwilling to stand in that crazy, ridiculous line. So improve the merch. Venue and bands could easily double or triple sales of merch...if only there WASN'T a 2 hour wait. We want to support or bands.....BUT SERIOUSLY. MAKE IT EASIER.

Took my younger disabled brother to Monster Trucks. It was the first time he and I had gone, and he had SO MUCH FUN!! Staff was awesome, they went out of their way to make sure he was having a blast and enjoying himself. It really meant a lot to us, because sometimes people tend to avoid him just because he's different. The food was expensive, but we expected that. It was really good though! We had "nosebleed" seats, which I got hoping it wouldn't be so noisy (spoiler: it was still really noisy), but we could see everything from a good vantage and the seats were more comfortable than seats in other arenas I've taken him to. All in all, we had a great time. We will definitely be back!

I haven't commented on very many places in the past , but as i lay awake and think about the experience (monster truck jam) . the more certain aspects of the experience left me troubled. on one hand I realize that the show is geared toward kids and they seemed to have a pretty good time. I also cant complain about the staff as there were plenty of them and were helpful. so what was it that was so outrageous, the ticket price? no that was reasonable , it was every aspect connected with the details. the details were so unbelievable that it ruined the experience.

first off the tickets were $22 (not bad), but before even parking you get a shocking surprise in the amount of $20 to park a bit outrageous! next was the shook from looking at the concessions , it was outright insulting . for starters a soft pretzel w/ cheese & a bottle of water $14. as I gazed with disbelief at the reader board i saw something for &4 and thought maybe i was being a little harsh. then realizing it was for a pickle.

we found our seats and savored that $14 pretzel and water. after a while a young girl came by who was selling bags of popcorn , she asked if i would like one . to which i quickly said no. then my curiosity got the best of me as she made her way back up the stairs. so i gave her a smile and got her attention over the ear piercing engines just 30 feet away. I said out of curiosity how much is it for that plastic bag of cold popcorn , to which she replied $11. i am sure the disbelief was apparently bright off because she got a big smile on her face. then i said oh it must be non GMO for that much money. to which she also smiled and giggled a bit. I mentioned how much popcorn you could buy with $11 (well i really don't know because it just doesn't cost that much). I also mentioned that if it were more reasonable people would surely buy a lot more, so where is the logic in 10 cents of popcorn costing that much? her answer was completely worth the effort of trying to hear what she said , because what she told me next will leave a scar on my view of Spokane ... she told me , that was nothing if i wanted a snow cone ( you know flavored water that is frozen in a cup) those were $15 each. as i held back a few words and tried to justify who would , who could possibly be that rude, that mean to the patrons of this establishment. making parents tell there children that they cant have something as little as some cold popcorn or some frozen water. or even those paying $26 for 2 cents worth of refreshments. which will undoubtedly teach any child the value of a dollar.

my last comment is to say people ( and I use that term loosely ) , this show is mainly for children . so how can you be so heartless and cruel?

obviously you must be barren , an only child, who never got a gift. someone without the advantage of having friends. i guess what i mean is you have probable never talked to a child because they are sleeping when your able to go...

Adam Sandler 10/16/23. We arrived at the arena 40 min early for parking. 30 minutes later after waiting in line to park. We tried to pull into the parking lot and were told that we had to pre-pay and we were told to drive down by David’s Pizza and park in a parking garage. We drove down to the parking garage at David’s Pizza and drove all the way to the top of the parking garage and there were no parking spots. By this time it was after the show started. We were stuck in the parking garage for 20 minutes because everybody was trying to park and there were no parking spots. After not finding a spot in the parking garage we frantically looked for a parking place downtown Spokane and were unable to find one. Finally out of frustration, we pulled back into the parking lot and begged for them to let us pay to park at the arena. At 7:55 We finally were able to pay 30 dollars by (which is ridiculous) for parking and pulled into the Spokane Arena parking lot. The parking lot wasn’t even full had a bunch of open parking spots. We missed the two opening acts, and by the time we sat down, Adam Sandler had just came out. Also, the floor was disgusting in the arena and sticky, and our shoes were sticking to the bottom of the floor, which was a nice added touch to our terrible experience.

What happened to the arena, it used to be a decent venue. Super...
