Swank Boutique — Local services in Spokane

I am so incredibly disappointed in this boutique’s business practices. I paid $70 for a permanent anklet from this boutique at a Mother’s Day event they were at last weekend. Not only did the chain break only hours later, but it was also already tarnished and it stained my ankle after only a few hours! The same exact thing happened to my friend who got a matching anklet in another color. I reached out to the boutique for a refund because obviously the product was not as advertised. I sent photos, etc. They claimed they had ordered from a new vendor, that they must have received faulty product, and that they would talk to their manager about a refund and get back to me. Fine, okay. If that is true then they could use my photos and the refunded receipt to get their money back from the vendor. No biggie. So I waited and was then told that the product was from an OLD vendor they no longer use because of this reason. Fine, okay, THEN WHY ARE YOU STILL USING IT?? They told me I’d have to come in for a replacement instead… but honestly, not interested in getting a replacement when the quality is so subpar and they can’t get their story straight… I mean, they told me the lady had been doing permanent jewelry for years and tried to blame the issue on the fact that it was an anklet, saying I must have been too rough with it… when at the event, the lady was literally shaking so bad she could barely hold the tools steady and claimed she’d only done a couple pieces a jewelry prior, that she was filling in for one of the other ladies… so I politely declined the replacement and asked again for a refund. They then told me they have a no refund policy, they ONLY do replacements… even though they’re selling dollar store garbage as high end quality metal. No thanks. Never doing business with this boutique again. Apparently this must be more common for them than they’re letting on if they can’t afford to refund a couple “oops” of them using old product they KNOW is poor quality. I’m not going to take more time out of my day and spend the gas to drive all the way into Spokane for them to replace a piece of jewelry that they should have never been using in the first place. Horrible...

They have a very clean store and very cute inside. The sale people are good. But they didn't tell you things, even if you are a really good customer. I have spent thousands of dollars there and I received a text for a savings coupon for my birthday, but 2 days earlier I went shopping there and spent $250. I received my coupon and went in to ask for a small %25 credit and they said no, only from the day fo the coupon till the expiration date. I didn't think it a big deal, since I have shopped there many times before and I have never returned anything from there store. And for return policy it is an in store credit. Maybe she should have offered me a $25 in store credit and then I would show the again. But I will not show...

The store has cute clothes but the girls that work.there are absolutely obnoxious. They talk like they are mimicking a "valley girl" and are extremely snobby and full of themselves. They do live feeds of Instagram where they are usually tipsy, swear alot and just come off with absolutely no class. I avoid this store because I honestly can't deal with them. And I know aloyof people that feel the same. Plus other boutiques sell the exact same clothes for much cheaper. I just think the staff here are completely unprofessional.
