I've been to this location a few times for in-store shopping and drive-up orders. It's the largest Target I've ever been inside. They have a deli, bakery, produce, frozen and refrigerated goods, all the clothing, electronics, household goods you need. The staff has always been helpful and friendly and shelves stocked. They prefer you to use self checkout and limit the cashiers you can use to force you over to the self checkout line. I do like that they moved the card machine to the end of the cashier lane, so you can easily load your cart while protecting your card info. The Starbucks, definitely not genuine Starbucks employees, so only order if you aren't a hardcore SB drinker. The drinks are mediocre.
Using the Target app is convenient and helps you find coupons and locate items within the store. Prices are always clearly marked, although I have occasionally noticed cheaper prices online. You can take the time to go to customer service and request a price match.
Over the last few months, maybe starting May 2025, I've noticed shelves not as stocked, messy shelves, staff collecting drive-up orders and leaving their carts in the way of in-store shoppers. Even fewer cashiers to assist you for checkout. Bakery items up in prices and down in size.
My recent experience that led to my 1 star was drive-up. Roaches. Roaches in the bags, that got into my car. My trunk, my back seat, the cooler where I put cold items. They were brought into my home, but luckily I saw them and closed and tied off the bags before they escaped. I called the store to discuss and no one answered. I used the "fix a problem" on the app and it was 'down'. I replied to the email sent from my order and no one responded. I waited for them to acknowledge my situation before writing this review. They can't correct the issue for me, but they can prevent it for other guests. And they could reach out to make me want to return to their store. No...
Read moreI believe this was a new cashier. So, I don't fault her, but fault management for not training her properly.
I was looking at the little customer facing display at the "TOTAL" of $25.57 and knew that wasn't right. It should have been $24.57 ($1 off coupon). The cashier said it was $24.57. Her screen showed the right total, and the Customer Display screen did not. She did not know why and called over someone else, I assume a supervisor. She couldn't explain it either. Told me to swipe to see what happens. The correct amount was charged. The customer display should show the correct total! (This could be a system design issue). No apology from either person and no offer to bring it up to management.
2nd, I bought 2 gift cards. I did not get a gift card receipt. The supervisor said, they don't automatically print, and that I should have asked for one. The cashier should have asked if I wanted a gift card receipt but didn't. How is the customer supposed to know to ask or that it doesn't automatically print one. Also, she only printed one. I said I had 2 gift cards and therefore should have 2 receipts. She said she didn't know I wanted 2 and that I should have asked for 2 and then asked if are they going to the same household? I said no, but that should not make a difference. She proceeded to print a 2nd one. She made me feel that it was my fault for not knowing to ask for a gift receipt and not specifying that I need 2.
This was terrible customer service for Target. Even Wal-Mart has had better customer...
Read moreI came to Target to grab a few items. I could not locate an item. I found an associate and politely asked if he could perhaps tell me where to specifically find the item. He kindly looked up the item and told me that it appears that the item has no location assigned. He mentioned that it must be in the inventory area waiting for placement. I thanked him and he said no problem. I went to complete my shopping. I saw another associate. I decided to ask him for his assistance regarding the item I had asked the other associate about. He quickly looked it up. Then, he stated that it appears to be in the back and he could go grab it for me. I was pleasantly shocked. The other associate never stated that he could retrieve the item for me. I waited and after a short time, he returned with the items. The associate who was so wonderfully helpful is named Anthony. Anthony is a true asset to the company. I absolutely LOVE excellent customer service. Anthony is the kind of employee companies need more of. Thanks again to Anthony for making my shopping experience pleasant. I also made sure to go to Customer Service and request to speak to a manager to let them know how wonderful Anthony is. Also, Sean/Shawn/Shaun (not sure how he spells it) at the Customer Service area was a great help to me and was super...
