The wife sent me out on a pizza run. I wasnât familiar with this place so I had a few questions. Instead of anything helpful, I was met with sarcasm, lack of interest, and a general disregard for my questions- very condescending mannerisms essentially. From my observation, there is a lot of horse play on the front end and is very reminiscent of high school days. Only to make matters worse, the ingredients on the top of the pizza were not fully cooked- which made the pizza very unpleasant for my pregnant wife to eat (word to the wise, you never mess with a pregnant womanâs food). The pizza was covered in completely uncooked onions- not even roasted. We get onions on pizza often from other establishments and have never encountered 100% raw onions. My wife has even ate at Ledoâs a few times before (ordering the same thing) and never experienced this problem. There is just a carelessness that seems to go into the process from beginning to end. My wife called and spoke with manager, Chelsea, about being unhappy with the pizza to which she responded âthat doesnât make sense to meâ. She resolved to wait to speak with owner, Eric, on Tuesday morning when he returns to work. However, weâre very disappointed with our entire experience. From the reviews and the very automated, generic, responses given to every single bad one- itâs relatively clear that they just donât care how they run/operate their business. If youâre okay with getting past the cool table and paying $12 for an undercooked small pizza, you may enjoy this establishment. If not, you may join us for better pizza, better ingredients, and better service... at Papa Johnâs.
*UPDATE: So, I ate the pizza because it was the only option at the time and I have many regrets. Not only were the onions raw, the dough was partially cooked- so the pizza was just undercooked as a whole. Typically, I have an iron stomach, so I thought nothing of eating it but I ended up getting very sick afterwards. That forced me to examine the interaction of the staff last night. Iâm not going to go into full detail but in short there were 6-7 employees and all but one of them were back and forth between the front and the kitchen. The chefs and servers were making physical contact with one another and the phones. I did not witness any hand washing in between exchanges. There was a point where the manager actually sat down on the countertop to stock drinks into the cooler. It appears the carelessness carries over into their sanitary practices as well which serves as an issue- especially if youâre not going to cook the food fully because the bacteria does not have a chance to die. Getting sick as a result of eating that food has forced me to examine this establishment far beyond customer service. Hopefully they take the reviews and customer experiences seriously soon and turn a new leaf because from beginning to end this has been...
Read moreWorst customer service that my family and I have ever received in our lives! FROM THE OWNER! We were charged 7 dollars for Celery and we just wanted to speak to the manager and ask why it costed that much. When the owner was informed that we wanted to speak with him, he busted through the door all dramatic, as if we did something horribly wrong and asked us what the problem is... it seems the waitress accidentally charged us 4 times for celery, we understood it was an accident and everything was fine until he started waving his hands in my cousins face, making statements like "whatever", "we don't have to come back again" and "We have to at least charge something for celery" which we understand, but why would he say that after he realized his employee made a mistake? Everytime we tried to respond to what he was saying he says "I don't need to hear this" and tries to walk away.. Then he says, "Were gonna have to now charge people for staying later than 10 because we would like to go home too ya know?" How rude of someone to say!! If he's running a business he should understand that him and his staff can't always leave the exact time they close! He also went on to say that we cause problems and we're very rude to his staff when his staff would have friendly conversations with us the whole time we're being served! If we caused any problems why would we be in there just about every Friday night? Nothing he was saying made any type of sense whatsoever... I'm very surprised how an OWNER could treat his customers bringing him business so poorly. We loved it there! The staff was always so friendly and we love their pizza... but unfortunately for the way the owner has treated us and how unprofessional and rude he was towards his customers, I don't think we will be...
Read moreI did not get the 2 young ladies' names, although I wish I had, but we just left spirit night for Robert E Lee. Nobody likes spirit nights. Its loud, it's hot, and if we are being honest, people tend to forget their manners when they go out. Anyway, there was a child who got sick. He threw up everywhere. As a mother myself, I will admit I HATE cleaning up after my children get sick. But. They're my kids and I do it because that's my job as a parent. These two beautiful young ladies not only had to stop what they were doing to clean up after someone else's child (while the mother stepped over it and didnt even muster up so much as a thank you) but they did it with SMILES. They were so pleasant and made the best of a horrible situation. Those ladies deserve so much praise for what they went through tonight with not an ounce of recognition or appreciation. But ladies, my husband and I saw you and WE appreciated your pleasant attitude! The food was great as well, but these ladies stood out...
