Yes drinks are ok… not like it’s going to wow your taste buds. The claw machines it was fun when they first opened but I think the owner or whoever that guy was working in the claw machines, realize its easy to win the prizes or the prizes cost the them more to reup then the boba teas. He changed it to where the claw wouldn’t grip on to anything. So waste of money on claw machines yes, waste of money on boba teas yes if you like a bland drink. You’re better off going to Paris trust me. The customer service is way better, every drinks are great and the food is great. Don’t go to places just cause it looks cute or just to take pictures. Think about it, they have a tree in the middle of their establishment and seats around it with branches hitting you in the face constantly resting on your head. Not enjoyable relaxing place to just chill and drink your drinks. Btw to the owner you know exactly what you did we made eye contact and you heard exactly what I said about what you did to the claw machines and that’s why you came back and open one of them just gave us the prize. So stupid enough to even put the prize on the side to make it easier for us knowing that the claw was set to...
Read moreThe service is fast, and the shop is clean with cute decor and ample seating. I appreciate that you can order at the counter or with a kiosk. BUT.
We have been here four times and tried multiple drinks, and two of those times the tea has been FAR too sweet. The first time it was bad was near opening day, so we figured it was just growing pains (especially when the second and third times were OK). However, this most recent trip (around 7:30 PM today), the tea was so sugary it was actually undrinkable. The milk tea we ordered was practically white from all of the excess creamer in it too, instead of the tan color one would normally expect. There is NO option to specify sweetness level in the menu, so I can only assume that the quality of your drink heavily depends on who is...
Read moreI come here a few times a week for my wife’s boba fix and always have a great experience. The young guy with the long hair consistently provides excellent customer service.
Today I tipped him and he reset the transaction (denying the tip) due to his minimal interaction in the creation of my drink. Essentially stating he didn’t do anything to earn the tip. This is reassuring in a world where everyone asks for a tip even when they literally don’t do anything for you. The tip I offered today wasn’t a tip for making my drink, but the excellent service I receive every visit. Keep doing what you’re doing young man!
EDIT: Owner replied and wanted to know the tip amount, which was ten dollars. I’ve since been back to Ku Tea twice more and continue to have EXCELLENT service provided....
