El Ultimo Trago — Restaurant in Spotsylvania Courthouse

Wow! Definitely the best way to start this review! My taste buds are still in shock! If you are looking for a place that is packed with flavor and has amazing Birria tacos..THIS PLACE IS THE PLACE TO GO! I am reviewing everything at our table because we were all taking bites from each other's food, we couldn't resist!

Drinks: To start, for our drinks, we had agua frescas. They have Agua de Horchata and and Agua de Jamaica. They had a great selection of mixed drinks and margaritas. (We skipped the alcohol and tried the Agua Frescas both flavors) The drinks were so good and refreshing. I would love to see Agua de Limon and Agua de Pepino in the future!

Food: The Birria Ramen...wow, this was served with cilantro, onions, limes (of course) and consume for dipping. This is served with two birria tacos that have delicious flavor and melted cheese making every bite have you saying, "OMG MMM!!!" The Ramen has Birria in it as well! To prepare it properly put the cilantro and onions inside the Ramen and then squeeze all the lime they gave you in it and enjoy! The Ramen was so good!

The Torta Asada was so incredible! It reminded me of the tortas I've had in Mexico. The bread is so perfectly fluffy, and soft for the torta. The steak is paired with lettuce, tomato, mayo, and jalapeños in making it the best combination for a traditional style torta, packed with flavor in eat bite.

The Birria Pizza was probably my favorite out of everything at our table. It is huge so share this with someone unless you take left overs, which is also ok too! Keep that flavor going on for your taste buds the next day! :) The Birria pizza has the consume cooked into the tortilla so it's immediate flavor to your taste buds. The meat and melted cheese combo is so delicious, you will close your eyes after every single bite, in amazement.

The ambience of this place is fun and entertaining, but is also appropriate for kids. They have seats on the side so if you're just trying to go for a nice date night this space is perfect for that. The environment is designed for everyone! I really enjoyed the service we received from the lady that helped us. The owner also came over and asked us how the food was and my daughter had the pleasure of saying how amazing it was and how much she enjoyed the food. This is coming from a picky eater. Where do I start!? This was a perfect experience. The food was spectacular, the service was stellar and the atmosphere was a vibe. They did a great job of remodeling this place. The last time that I was in here it was Legends. My wife had three tacos. She had birria, shrimp, and al pastor. I definitely reached my hand across the table...food was slappin'. So was my wife, she made me leave her food alone🤣. My daughter had the steak nachos because her eyes were bigger than her stomach. They were delicious and she thoroughly enjoyed them. She impressively made it about 2/3 through that meal. My picky son actually finished his food that we won't talk about. I on the other hand, chose to bravely dive into the birria pizza. I have tried. I say brave because the picture made it look huge. It was a really good size and that had to take home a container to reheat it. I ate most of it, but was defeated by the portion size it was cooked to perfection. It was crispy on the bottom and top with generous amounts of meat. The drinks were hitting and the entertainment options were awesome. While I contemplated my post meal nap, My wife and kids happily played games on the other side of the restaurant. Everyone was super friendly when we came in and our waiter, Angel, was on point. He was very patient and attentive. He had great knowledge of the menu and the options, and made us feel very welcomed. He communicated really well about food times and expectations for meals. We will definitely be back, as we all enjoyed our experience. This place is clearly of Fredericksburg gem worth visiting....

The atmosphere is very nice. Clean and bright colors. However, the food was only ok. We were 1 of 3 tables restaurant was not busy. We waited 25 min to get our food. We got the quesadilla pizza my son said it was good. However, I ordered classic nachos with chicken the chicken was dry and my nachos had no beans on them. The menu said they had beans they came with none. My husband ordered enchiladas 1 beef and 1 chicken he got 2 chicken his chicken was dry as well. We ordered queso with chips the queso was room temperature not warm at all. My daughter ordered a chicken and cheese quesadilla it only came with cheese. Then when we went to pay the bill was on a square type device it was very hard to see the itemized bill to check to see if our bill was correct. The bill seemed slightly high but due to the small screen we had to assume the bill was correct. After paying and leaving a good tip we asked for a printed receipt. At this point we realized why our bill was high. A $16 “delivery fee” tip had already been added to our bill in addition to the $20 we ended up leaving in addition. So we paid $36 in tip for an $89 bill. We will not...
