We have thoroughly enjoyed spending time in Bricks and Minifigs. We have been customers for the Legos. But have had the best time at the birthday parties. We enjoyed a party as a guest, then booked the party for our five-year-old. All the children had a wonderful time creating their own Lego cars and putting them on the track to have Axel countdown and send the cars down to a finish line with times and finalist marked on an electronic board. As the parent/grandparent of this party, the best part was, everything is included. All we had to supply was the cake, snacks, and drinks. They supply all the activities with attendant, table clothes, paper products, hand sanitizer, and most importantly, CLEAN UP!!! There are different pricing packages. And they are all well worth the money. Each child gets to take home a customized mini fig. And at our party, we added the poly bag to each child as a parting gift. The giant Lego throne is the perfect place for pictures or gift opening. The kids truly enjoy just climbing up and sitting high . There is ample space for cake, drinks and gifts. There is also a customized Lego wall board where our child’s name had been displayed. The kids enjoyed creating pictures and building on the wall as well as building the cars. We found the space to be clean and set up nicely. The restrooms are down the hall from the party room. The restrooms were clean and accommodating. The store is in a strip mall and shares the parking with other businesses. But there was never an issue with finding parking for the few times I’ve been there
Note to Bricks and Minifigs management ; You totally rock!!! Thank you for coming to Fredericksburg. I would strongly encourage you to create a rope/chain across your party room door, and leave the door open, set for a party. The more it is seen as a comfortable clean space the more bookings you will get. Keeping the door closed, keeps it a hidden asset. It would also be a good profit point and helpful to parents if you had a helium tank and balloon supplies. I had my large number five balloon filled at Publix for three dollars. I feel this could be an easy addition and would promote sales. Thank you again for such a successful day. We will...
Read moreRecently got back into building Legos after taking a 5 year hiatus. 1st and 2nd set went beautifully. The 3rd set? Well.. It was the solar system lego set. Im trekking along and with less than 50 pieces left, I hit a snag. Oh no, this can't be. Yep, there was a missing piece. After checking, double checking and triple checking the bags and under the mattress, it was decided it was a manufacturer error. I went into Bricks & Minifigs today was greeted by Dylan who was not only friendly and extremely helpful but was eager to help me. Even going as far as pulling up the instruction booklet so I could show him the exact piece that decided to go MIA. Long story short, he found the SINGULAR piece I needed and I was able to complete the build. As a fellow builder, im sure you can understand what a victory that was. Thank you Dylan!!
TLDL: Found the piece, completed the build, Dylan's...
Read moreI love this place! I was looking for hard to find “retired” Minifigs and they had them! The best part of the experience was how nice these people who run the store are! Jake, Holly, and Dylan were so kind and super helpful! From the moment I walked through the door, they made me feel appreciated as a customer. Jake said his dream was for their location to feel like family, and when you come in the store it’s like Cheers, where everybody knows your name.” That’s rare these days! If you’re into Legos like me and my family, you will...
