Tortas pollo my favorite! (big mexican shredded chicken sandwich, I can only eat half at a time) A few very casual tables to eat in, we usually take out.

Love the green sauce, red too hot for me but Mexican husband loves it. He also loves the tacos pastor.

Love the guava dessert topping in a jar, (try it at home on greek yogurt, better than ice cream sundae!) the boxed peanut mazapan "de la Rosa", and the variety of tropical juice drinks.

We have taken home from carniceria the beef diezmille, the cecina, and of course chorizo, all fresh and delicious.

Food is prepared on Friday to Monday. Fresh pan dulce comes in Friday afternoon, but someone always beats me to the marranitas (mild, dry gingerbread shaped like a pig, made for dunking.)

Husband wants to try the menudo (not me!). Nor will i eat the chicarrones he always gets (crispy puff fried pig skin).

Asked for canned huitlacochee (corn fungus like mushroom and used like mushroom) but not yet...hopefully soon!

We love this place! The tacos are DELICIOUS! True, authentic Mexican tacos and their salsa is really good too! The red had some spiciness to it but the green was not really spicy at all. The tacos are only $3 each also. They do only have asada and al pastor but hopefully they'll offer more in the future, would love to have some tortas! And lengua! This New Mexican Store has a good variety of Authentic Mexicans foods, Products and Candies and also little in between. Real Glass Coca-Cola & Pepsi in the bottles with real Sugar.
