I went to this store with my friend to look at the habesha clothes’ they have, in hopes to buy if I see what I like. I was greeted by a sales person/Manager that showed us whats in the store and mentioned they have even much nicer and pricier dresses at the back. The ones he showed me were not to my taste So I asked to see the ones he said they have at the back of the store.
He said no because to see those dresses I should know exactly what I want down to the color and ask if they have something like that; then he would take me at the back to show me. He added I can even do that over the phone instead of walking in… As ridiculous as that sounds he said that with a straight face.
I was confused and thought there must be a misunderstanding so I first said well I live 10 min from here so it is easier fir me to come. Then I went on explaining how, us, women don’t always know the exact clothing we want but go to the store to see whats out there, and find something we fall in-love with. And even go over budget if the right clothing comes along.
But he was not budging he was giving me an example of how I use gps to go somewhere thats how shopping at their store is. I first should know exactly what I want in order to see these dresses hidden at the back.
He also added the dresses are so beautiful, that people get so overwhelms and confuse on what to choose.
Then he goes on saying for them (the business), it does not make any difference if I buy $100 dress, $500 dress or even make no purchase at all because someone else will buy it. (Not sure why this was mentioned..)
Over all he talked a bunch of non-sense for a good 10 min. And told me to go in their website and choose what I want or any dress I want and contact them to be able to see what they have.
Now, Its kinda of obvious that there are no dresses “in the back” but what a bunch of non-sense, wasting someone’s time. Its disrespect to customers and a bad look for the business.
But if they actually have these very nice, up to $1500 worth dresses, what a BAD BUSINESS Strategy. Very very...

Was looking for a particular jewelry piece. Gentleman said yes we have. Spent over 10 minutes looking for it within the jewelry then asked “when do you need it?”. I replied with not today (speaking regarding the event it was for). I assumed he was getting a new shipment or such if it was not in stock and was going to answer as so. Instead, he pretty much just stopped looking and rambled on about nonsense, others will buy, no pictures of jewelry is allowed, ect. I told him well I’m here now. If he didnt have he could have simply said instead of lying.
No one is going to make another trip here after today’s occurrence. I just happen to walk past the store and thought it was a great opportunity to buy if they had what I was looking for. If he would have said it would be in another day, we would have planned to come back. Never gave a chance due to the cover up of lies.
Go look elsewhere for...
Read moreThe best Ethiopian store. A very friendly owner. My twin boys and I started coming to this store almost 6 months ago but I’ve seen the store for years. The owner told us that he run the store for almost 20 years. That shows what kind of an amazing store he has. It’s very hard to keep a store runing inside the Springfield mall. Another think, it’s an Ethiopian store but he has a lot of Eritrean clothing. I was born and raise in Asmara, Eritrea and I’ve been buying all my Eritrean flags, chains, t-shirts, jackets, ties and all my car accessories. Same with my twin boys. They love the store. Always reminds them a store we have in downtown Asmara. My Ethiopian and Eritrean brothers, please go and check this fantastic twice Boutique store.
Thank you. Dr. Daniel...
