Edit 2: Buyer Beware! Do not buy the Cell Helmet warranty. I have never worked with a company that was so hard to work with. You purchase their product, but they're are adamant in not working with you to have your device repaired.
Edit: Buyer Beware! Purchase of the $69.99 Cell Helmet warranty plan is bogus. It's quite a quick transaction at the counter, but it is not stress-free process to have a repair made.
You cannot simply take the device to the store location and have them repair it. Instead, you have to have it facilitated through Cell Helmet where you file a claim, wait for 3-4 days to be called back, then allow them to coordinate the repair with the store. Then, you have to pay for the repair, then request a reimbursement from Cell Helmet has to be requested by way of providing a copy of the receipt.
I am in the middle of the process, but I do not look forward to the frustrations forthcoming. I would not recommend purchasing the warranty. It's probably more worthwhile to work through UBreakIFix to have the device repaired under a Time and Materials contract type.
The worst. I probably should have asked a few questions when I made the purchase. At the time time, the salesperson should be a bit more forthcoming about the warranty process when it's sold.
This location was so helpful from the time I walked in through the time I paid for my repaired device. Luckily, my phone was broken early SAT morning so I could drop it off and pick it up the same day. Felt like my phone was going to be repaired without any technical issues. (I guess the representative was really good with her sales spiel!) I had a typical cracked screen issue and it was repaired in two hours as they had promised. While I hope I do not have to pay $200 for another S7 screen, I would go back to this location...
Read moreCannot recommend against more. It took FIVE days for them to fix my phone, and they promised a 1-4 hour turn around.
I brought my phone in a backscreen replacement on Saturday morning, and had to call myself on Monday to figure out what the problem was. They said they ordered the wrong part, and that it would be ready by close of business that day. Fast forward to Wednesday. I follow up, since they haven't contacted me. They still had yet to start the repair.
This isn't even mentioning that they required me to physically come in for them to order the part for me on Friday. Lastly, they were aware this is my work phone, and that they needed to contact me if there were any delays. They did not contact me, and lied about their reasoning why.
When I brought the phone in, they asked for my PIN so they can run the Google required diagnostic after finishing the repair, and a contact number. The tech took both on a sticky note. When I asked why they never contacted me, the employee said they lost the sticky note with my contact info.
That was certainly a lie, since otherwise they wouldn't have had the PIN necessary to complete the repair. Upon receiving my phone, the diagnostic app was still up, meaning they had just run it. And regardless, I spoke with them on the phone multiple times during the process, and they never mentioned they had lost the contact number, OR PIN.
All in all, they were unable to complete their repair in anywhere close to a timely manner, they lied about the expected wait MULTIPLE times, and lied about why they failed to notify me of the delays. They did not offer a loaner device for me to use while the repair was in progress, causing a multitude of work complications for me. I was offered a 10% discount for my trouble, which is almost insulting.
The repair work they did was adequate, but unless you don't need your device for several times longer than the time they cite you,...

I am writing to express my concern regarding my recent experience at one of your locations. Approximately two months ago, I visited your store to have a screen replacement for my Samsung phone. Although I understood the diagnostic fee, I was disappointed to learn that there was an issue with my phone that prevented further repair.
When I inquired about the issue, your staff claimed to have relayed information about the problem to Samsung, but Samsung's customer service team informed me that they received no such information. I returned to the store to clarify this point, but the issue was not resolved to my satisfaction.
A week later, my phone required an update, and I encountered an issue with restarting loops. Fortunately, my phone was covered by insurance, which referred me to a local repair service. After investigating, it was discovered that a loose screw and an improperly connected battery were the root causes of my issue.
I was relieved to have the issues resolved, but I was also concerned about the service I received at your store. If a phone cannot be repaired, I understand that it is not possible to fix it. However, if a phone is opened for repair, I expect the technician to reassemble it properly and without any hasty work.
Furthermore, I was not pleased with the attitude exhibited by your staff when I questioned the issues and the subsequent communications with Samsung. I believe that open and honest communication is essential in providing good customer service.
I hope that you will take my feedback seriously and use it as an opportunity for improvement. I look forward to seeing positive changes...
