Yay! In the digital world of life, I didn't want to send Christmas cards online. I wanted old fashioned, boxed Christmas cards, that I can buy stamps for & write in cursive in & send in the good old fashioned us postal mail!!! I looked EVERYWHERE for boxes of Christmas cards & every where I went, folks looked at me like I had 18 heads & said no, we don't sell boxes of those. Everywhere I went, I only found little packages of 6 or so for highway robbery prices or single cards. I got so frustrated that I went online & did a search for "boxed Christmas cards" & Michaels came up 1st on the results!! I got in my car & went to Michaels & there was the display!! I am SO very lucky I got them however, because it was quite obvious I am not the only person in the digital age, that wanted to buy boxed Christmas cards! There was only a few boxes left. Next year I know to go directly to Michaels only, at the beginning of the holiday season to get them!! I did get them on sale for $4.99 for a box of 14 cards & that was extreme happiness! Thank you Michaels for allowing us old fashioned folks, to be able to send out paper cards to our loved ones, in this doggone digital world. You have my 100%...

I went to Michaels today to see if I could buy a frame or other method to hang an expensive old map I purchased, an odd size, 25” x 35”. Going down an aisle I came upon a fellow stocking shelves. He turned and asked if he could help me. His name tag showed his name to be Ted. After I asked about discount limitations I had read about on Michales’ website, Ted walked me over to a different aisle and showed me an inexpensive frame with a hardboard backer, hangers, and a plexiglass protection for my map. He said I could purchase a colored poster board for mounting the map and cut it to fit the frame. He showed me several colors and I chose black. I was out of there in ten minutes for less than $40.
