Went in with my husband and kid yesterday for lunch. Clearly ordered my food with a large extra fry. Left a $6 tip before waiting for my food. They left out a large fry I clearly asked for and I offered to buy another for myself. The guy was rude and questioned me asking for a large fry then the employees decided to snicker back and forth and act like I didn’t deserve good customer service. I waited for my large fry as I watch my family eating from a distance. I got served soggy uncooked fries loaded with salt. As I went back to ask for good fries they didn’t even say sorry just snickered again. As I was waiting for fries first in line I watched as the first batch of fries came out and they served them to the ones behind me in line. I asked why I didn’t get served they said they needed a special pan for my fries but I wondered why they didn’t have that pan ready when they knew I needed less salted fries and to be cooked fully. Leaving me to standing waiting for fries for my dinner while my family I let them eat theirs so it wouldn’t go cold while I waited, but I sure did eat a cold burger after my wait. Not to nice not even a I’m sorry or sympathetic to what I just experienced for my $46 lunch out at a burger joint. I love the one on gateway never had a issue. I won’t be back to this...
Read moreI’m typically a huge fan of five guys, the fresh burgers fries and milkshakes are a huge plus especially when looking for some alternative to fast food.
However this location takes the cake for the worst service I’ve ever seen at a five guys. We ordered two burgers each with customized toppings, a shake and fries. The burgers took over 25 minutes to be completed as there were a number of customers ahead of us. We got outside and unwrapped our burgers and noticed that neither of them were even close to what we had ordered. We went back inside, waited in line again, and the girl brought out a piece of paper to write down what we had wanted. We specifically watched her write down the order, then proceeded to cook all burgers from scratch, adding another 15 minutes to our wait. They wrapped up the burgers handed them to us we walked outside open them again and they were wrong a second time, they had mixed up ingredients between the two burgers. The manager did not offer any compensation or offered to refund us for our meal. 40 minutes later we left disappointed and $30 short.
Overall, One of the worst customer experiences at a five guys...
Read moreI really like five guys burgers. It's my favorite fast food burger place. I've never thought that you could screw up a burger but lately it seems as though the usual burger joints have become very poor in service and in food quality.... Seemed they've shrunk and use faked photos of food they've spruced up to make u think your getting quality food but it's no where close. They should get it for false advertising and five guys don't do that... Nore do they spend all their profits on advertising... Thank you five guys for using quality beef. Thank you for keeping your burgers basic and simple yet making them very flavorful and taste great. Plus generally staff is courteous and proficient and seem to work together with up beat attitudes creating a positive environment.... Other burger places it's easy to see the employees are over worked and under appreciated by the attitudes and you can tell the focus is on pushing out the food as fast as they could without much care to how it looks... Five guys is my first pic if possible. My only complaint is that they don't always have enough...
