I like to support locally owned and operated businesses and Northwest Home Furnishings is exactly that, locally owned and operated with exceptional service and prices. Tim treats everyone who comes through the doors like an old friend. I purchased a heavy duty bed frame from him a few years ago, he matched a price, which really surprised me and I remembered how kind he was then so, I thought I'd give him a try for the purchase of a new sofa and, I'm glad I did. I found a sofa I wanted at a bigger chain store and he was able to offer me the exact same model and brand for the sale price as the other guys. He belongs to a co-op of sorts for smaller businesses to collectively purchase furniture and mattresses for the same prices and pass it along to his customers. Northwest Home Furnishings truly is a family owned and operated business right down to the guys who deliver the furniture. I paid a very reasonable additional fee to have the sofa delivered and placed inside my house. I received a phone call shortly before my new sofa was scheduled to be delivered that the delivery guy hurt his ankle and they wouldn't be able to deliver. I was really disappointed and explained I already gave my sofa away and had no place to sit besides the floor. After the call, I felt bad because I was more concerned about my sofa than I was about the poor delivery guy so, I called back to apologize for being upset and expressed my concern for the delivery guys well being and said let's just figure something else out and not to worry. Tim went above and beyond to make sure the sofa got delivered anyway because that's just the great business man he is. The guys delivered the sofa, nice young guys, very polite, did a great job delivering and had a positive attitude. Please give Northwest Home Furnishings a try before you go to a chain store. You'll be treated with kindness, you'll absolutely find something you like for a competitive price and you'll be supporting a small family owned business. Tell them Justin...

Honestly I COULD NOT HAVE BEEN HAPPIER with the product and service we received from these guys!!! Regardless of the past review I just read before posting this that says some complaints, you cannot make everyone happy...That is business...Along with life...I believe what makes a good business is when the owner takes that into mind and wakes up everyday doing there 100% best to make as many people satisfied with their purchases and experience as possible. My personal experience with the Owner Tim was BEYOND the BEST I have ever had at a furniture store!

I had been shopping around at multiple places to find the bedroom/living room set we wanted/loved, including Rifes, and all the other furniture places in the M Jacobs lot. My experience with OTHER stores was about the same as past ones going to used car lots! I was chased around the store and was never left alone to converse with my Fiance' and was in a HIGH PRESSURE atmosphere.

With Tim though we did not feel that what so ever! We were shown exceptional furniture pieces and given amazing prices without any haggle. I will from here on out be sending friends and family to Tim when they are in need of new furniture!!!!!

Sorry to have to write this as I have numerous pieces of furniture in my home and have purchased other pieces for family from this company but I won’t anymore. I contacted Wayne at the store and let him know that I had an issue with the mattress that I had bought 4 years ago, was still under warranty, and failing. Wayne asked me to email him pictures of the failing mattress as well as pictures of the tag on the mattress and he confirmed through their records that it was purchased 4 years ago with a 10 year warranty. Wayne assured me that he would get back to me after speaking to the owner by the end of the day. I forwarded via email everything he asked of me and now approximately four weeks later no response from Wayne or anyone else. I guess they thought I would just go away. Well they were right and I won’t be back, I purchased a replacement mattress from another company and will have them dispose of the one that was failing with this kind of customer service I couldn’t hardly recommend that anyone else shop there...
