Pioneer Plaza — Local services in Springfield

Typical strip mall type Plaza. Safeway, food places, big open free parking lot. What makes this one get 5 stars from me though is a few particular places in it. First off a great Sushi restaurant called Oishii Sushi is at this location and I've never had a bad meal there. Next on the list is a place over been going to for years, Video Game Headquarters. This gaming store has a lot of awesome nostalgia, from retro games, to the newest games, animated selections and memorabilia, magic the gathering and other card games, decent prices or in store credit for trade ins or electronics you have to sell (if the take it or dont have an abundance), and an overall good vibe and nice atmosphere thanks to the friendly staff. Highly recommend over most gaming stores (like Gangstop lol). Next on my list of my top 3 for this Plaza has to be DragonVine! Which is a novelty toy, pop culture, anime, board game, comic book shop lol. Obviously not for everyone but if you got kids, or you're a kid at heart yourself then this is a spot you can truly get lost in just browsing their many different genres of items. Personally I'm too big of a nerd to be able to go in this spot without usually dropping 50-100 bucks 😅 but as I mentioned, to each there own lol. Plenty of other shops as well, hair cut spot, beauty shops, lottery spot, more food places, and a pretty decent full service car wash just in case you roll dirty lol. Specifically, I visited the Safeway store located in the Pioneer Plaza business group. Refer to the Safeway review for that information. The Plaza, itself has a variety of 24 small shops and stores that cover a wide range of services and products. I haven't gone to every store in the Plaza, but have visited the UPS Store, Great Nails, Shari's, Jack in the Box, CosmoProf, All American Pet, and Safeway. I have or will review these businesses in the near future.

Overall, the easy access, ample parking, and cleanliness of this shopping center are good. I would recommend...

Pioneer Plaza is a strip mall, serving North Springfield. The pet supply store is run by people that are unfriendly to deaf, ditto the UPS store. I have not been inside the vapor store. Safeway is okay and the people that work there are good people. The Bank of America that was there closed the branch, now you have to go to Safeway for cash. There is a USPS box to drop mail. There is adequate parking but few disabled spaces marked for disabled. There are no homeless. Area patrolled by SPD. It is located near Fred Meyer and across from a dentist and another dentist across the street, along with a chiropractic office. It is very conveniently located off the 126, if you are a trucker, stop there is a Shari's open 24/7, good service meh food. Jack in the Box is next to the Shari's, again, good people, meh food.
