Mox Valley Games — Local services in Springfield

I'm laying out the facts of my experience at this establishment . I used to do alot of business with this place I will no longer be and these are the reasons why . I have bought many of boxes of One Piece here . I have never pulled anything out of a box not a SP an Alt art leader literally nothing . It is extremely easy to buy cases and open boxes once getting the case hits you would then put the so called "dud" boxes out for sale . That's what I believe they're doing. After admissions from several of their employees saying they rip alot of their product this is the conclusion I've come to . They have several very big cards on display that they've pulled which would take opening many and many of cases to get . For me to go through as many boxes as I have from this place and to not get anything is a true statistical anomaly if that is not what's going on . I have ripped plenty from other places with very standard results. This is a very common practice go to any forum and you can find that out . It's obviously very unethical and I can't say for sure that's what is going on I'm just laying out the facts of my experience and I'll let others draw their own...

I attempted to purchase some packs of Dominaria United for my sons and I but the display box looked like it had been ripped open with the bare hands of a ruffian. Not only did Josh immediately track down the employee who was responsible for the mishap, but he whipped out a pair of scissors and trimmed the box into a more professional display while playfully dressing down the person in question in front of my family.

The employee's reasoning for such a "haste makes waste" decision?

"I had a line man! I was in a hurry okay?"

Well, it turns out the REST of the employees at this store CARE about what the store looks like and how it's presented to the public. I verbally stated that they just earned another star on their upcoming Google review, and well... here it is! (couldn't give 6 stars, it was going to be 5 anyway).

So if it weren't for this display of unprofessionalism, this display of professionalism wouldn't have been possible... so who's the real winner here?

The answer is EVERYONE who shops at Mox Valley Games!

I loved Mox Valley they have a knowledgeable and kind staff. This isn't a Magic only store, they are knowledgeable about many TradingCardGames. They Call you by name. They were very kind to my 9yo son; when I seek out game shops I am always weary that I'll find those snobby 30+ men that hate women and children but not here. They have a genuine desire to share their passion with you even if you are brand new. They have D&D books, dice, and miniatures. Collectible figurines, some models. And your tcg stuff😊 I will be back for sure so...
