This salon is so professional. Keith, The owner, saved my hair multiple times. Last year, my hair was tangled with a hair spray. I bought it, and Keith and his ladies spent three days each day two hours to save as much of my hair. I also went this year to Meraki Salon. One of the hairdressers there charged me over $240 and burned my hair. I bought all the expensive hair products to save my hair, but it was useless. Then I returned to the color bar salon, and Keith and his team took care of my hair, did a couple of treatments, and did a beautiful trimming. I tried all the salons in Springfield. Color Bar is number one in blowout hair, and you will leave the salon with gorgeous, shiny silk hair—at very reasonable prices according to their products. You can request anything, and they will try their best. I tried all the ladies also in the salon. They are very friendly, nice, respectful. It always feels like home for me. As a new resident of Springfield , I had no idea of where to go to get my hair done so as what any smartphone user would do, I asked Google for assistance , it took me to this place. I was greeted by a friendly gentleman on the reception area, so far so good, I felt an instant connection with him. He led me to the chair, had a hair consultation, found out my hair was not as fried as I thought it was. I said I work in a hospital which provides uniforms to its nurses. I told him I want to feel distinct, separate and different from the uniformity of my environment. I suggested highlights and he agreed. . and by faith, I told him to work his magic on me.. I think it was my lucky day, Keith said he only works 2 times a week, he travels in between to oversee the operation of the salon chain in Midwest. Keith was very efficient, 20 minutes I guess and he completed coloring and foiling my entire head. His cutting techniques very detailed and precised, he had great eye for making the customer happy and content with his service. Seriously not trying to be rude but I went to two different stylists who I felt didn't really understand what I wanted.

Maggie was great. She gave me the warm blonde I wanted.

Then, I went to Sydney. I realized I must've booked the wrong service when I walked out with strawberry blonde roots and the rest honey blonde hair. I booked a root touch up instead of a partial foil, but nothing was really discussed with me as far as color before she started applying it. She also made it super uncomfortable as the blow-dryer was really close to my head both times she did my hair. Then after some research about what went wrong, I booked a partial foil/highlight.

About six weeks later, I went to Haley who was nice and fixed the strawberry blonde situation so it at least wasn't a huge mess and was overall the same color. The color was warm and eventually I got used to it and became happy. It ended up lightening up after a few washes.
