I come to this store all the time because they are one of the only stores that carry the styles that I like, as well as accessories etc. I came down because I saw several shirts that I want it online as well as some sunglasses and a watch. So I get down there and they have the shirts and that I wanted, but had neither the sunglasses nor the watch that the website said they had at this location. One of the employees kept trying to entice me to let them order them to this location so that I could come back to get them (I ive in Branson over an hour away). I also overheard another employee telling a customer that their store has everything that is on their online store and more, which is obviously not the truth.So I decided to not worry about the watch or the sunglasses and just get the t-shirts- well by the time all of this had happened, I asked to get a fitting room to be sure that the shirts will fit, and they told me that they close the fitting rooms 30 minutes before the store closes. So long story short, they lost over $300 worth of sales because of all this. Usually I have pretty decent experiences here, but this one was not very pleasant at all, and makes me not want to come back. If I want to buy something from Tilly's again, I will likely buy it online or choose another...
Read moreRude and apparent lazy employees. We never had been here before and stopped in to purchase something from the window. The first girl to approach remarked at me at how I appeared "appalled" by something, which caught me off guard. Shrugged it off and went to the register. The line was long and in a goofy order, not to mention there was only one cashier who appeared to be working her first summer job. Someone approached from the rear of the store and guided the line into its directed order. I suggested that person open another register. It wasn't until I finally made it to the register that she came back and told everyone (in a line about 14 parties deep) that she opening a second register. Once there, the cashier insisted that I couldn't pay with NFC although it was clear the transaction went through (and it being required by federal law to be operational). When the receipt printed, she looked it over, not knowing what to think, so I grabbed it from her hand and left with my purchase.
I'm sure all of this was a culmination of many frustrations, but it certainly didn't leave a good impression on me, especially the attitude of who appeared to be the shift supervisor and her failure to recognize customer flow problems. Likely...
Read moreI cannot express enough my gratitude and appreciation for Cristal, who I found out later was the manager. My daughter suffers from a pretty high level of anxiety and, while a simple shopping trip for most teens is fun, for her shopping for clothes can result in hours of meltdowns, indecisions, arguing and overall frustrations for both of us. Cristal approached us, was super friendly, talked to my daughter about what she was looking for and basically became her personal shopper. She was absolutely WONDERFUL with my daughter without even knowing her backstory. Cristal worked with her so well and I saw zero anxiety out of my daughter the entire time. It was one of the most enjoyable shopping trips we have been on because of Cristal's kindness, her passion for her job and her overall love for what she was doing.
