Rude rude lady. Came here on vacation to try and find a gown for my friend and this lady (who I later find out was part owner) was not helpful. Her tone was very rude from the beginning. During the time my friend was looking at dresses, she tells her, "don't stretch the dress out." My friend was literally just holding the dress open to see how wide it was, like any normal person. As soon as my friend finished trying on a dress and decided she didn't want it, we came to the lobby to discuss where we were about to go next, and the lady comes right behind us telling us we're about to close so y'all need to leave (not in a nice or professional manner). My friend asked, "y'all close at 5 right?" The lady responds back to us by saying we operate by appt only, y'all need to leave. So now that she is giving us straight attitude. I told her to give us a second. She repeated herself again, and tells us "goodbye" in like a leave tone of voice. So they literally kicked us out to the curb. We were standing there for 1 minute when she was trying to tell us to leave. Like you can't stand in a store for a few minutes. Mind you, there was no one else there, so we weren't tying her time up or anything. I would go somewhere else for your dresses. Plus she made it super clear, they don't do alterations. She has no idea where they do alterations. She has no idea where a mall is. So yes. Stay away from here. Horrible service. Wish I could tell your her name, but she refused to answer.

As I'm writing this outside (because we were waiting on our Uber), a different lady comes out and asks me if I want a business card. I said sure. She was very confrontational. I asked her if the lady inside that kicked us out was the owner. She said they both are. So I was like well y'all have a funny of treating your customers. I told her the lady informed us that this was by appointment only a store, and that we were not aware of that. But nothing on their website says by appointment only. She said, "we prefer by appt only," so I said well that's different than kicking your customer out (after your let them look for a dress) and tell your customers that your by appt only... not preferably. I told her we're from out of town and just needed find a dress last minute so we did not know that, and that's no reason to treat your customers like that. She goes on to continue arguing with me and tell me, "well the other out of town people seem to know." You see where I'm going with this?? Like who argues with there customer and talks disrespectful to them? No business I go to. I wasn't going to stand there and argue with this rude person any longer, who was clearly not apologetic for the way her business partner treated us, so I tried waking away. She kept trying to argue as I was leaving and I told her to shut up. So she walked out of her business, propped the door, and began following me like she was going to fight me. I continued to walk away with my other friends as she was threatening me. I had to tell her I was going to call the cops, and she finally backed off.

This is the worst experience I've ever had. A business owner verbally disrespectful, excusing her behavior instead of apologizing for it, and then following me out on the street to fight? If that isn't enough to steer you away from here, then good luck. You'll be in for a...

Cannot recommend Calla Lily enough! I went looking for a wedding dress but wanted something non-traditional. After showing some photos of dresses I liked from designers they carried, the owner and her daughter (I can't remember their names off the top of my head but they were fantastic!) were able to pull a few dresses that were on my list and a few that weren't on my radar. Unlike a lot of other places I have gone dress shopping at, they understood the vibe of what I was looking for and pulled really phenomenal gowns (honestly, I could have just closed my eyes and picked something at random and it would have been gorgeous and amazing).

They asked questions and were incredibly helpful, and I was so thrilled and elated when I found "the" dress. It fits me both literally and figuratively, and I cannot wait to wear it! We had some great conversation during the check out process, not to mention the space itself is as beautiful as the selection. They gave me information to a few different places for alterations as well, and made sure the mention what types of alterations would be good/possible for the dress when I had it on. They were super patient and I really appreciated the time and care they took not only pulling dresses but giving some feedback and suggestions. I was also impressed with the selection/variety of gowns and size range.

Never once did I feel like I was taking up too much time or that I wasn't as important as other customers just because I wasn't looking for a traditional wedding gown (which is how I felt at other places and what made me anxious to continue the search). 100% 5 star recommendation! I was blown away by the breathtaking beautiful dresses. I went to help my friend find a dress for an Adele concert and every time she came out of the dressing room, I had to remind myself to take a deep breathe, she was so gorgeous in every dress.

I’m not only highly impressed by the quality of the dresses, but I’m especially happy by the amazing, hardworking, friendly, talented, smart, experienced, female, black small business owner, mother daughter duo.

The daughter is totally capable given her fashion degree and excellent eye for detail and design and the mother is so so kind and supportive and very body positivity and made my friend feel good about herself which is so hard in todays world.

Please understand how hard and stressful it is to run a small business with lots of expensive inventory. In order for the owners to be able to help you find the perfect dress, please be honest about your budget. They have dresses of all sizes and style and colors, which is rare for a store to care such an impressive inventory, and most of their prices range from $400-$1000, which is very reasonable given the quality of these dresses.

Also, note that nearly all dresses will need to be hemmed since they come long so plan accordingly and find a good seamstress on Google maps.
