HORRIBLE HORRIBLE SERVICE AND EXPERIENCE!!!! My family and I (African Americans and mixed races) went to this bowling alley to enjoy a little family night together on our last night in town. We arrived at 1:40am and preceded to purchase our shoes, drinks, and a couple games of bowling. At 2:25am we were approached by one of the bartenders and told to put down our drinks and stop bowling, meanwhile a bar full of (Caucasian) people were at the bar dancing, mingling, and still ordering mixed drinks and shots. When we spoke to one of the managers about our experience, they firmly stated that they were understanding of our experience and what took place and would give us a full refund to compensate for our unfortunate and unacceptable behavior and service from the staff that told us blatantly to leave then cut off our game. Afterwards, a general manager stepped in and exploded that there wouldn’t be any refund or compensation except for $11 which what unacceptable seeing as there were 8 of us and we each paid $10 not including socks, beverages, or anything additional. We weren’t warned about anything prior to our purchases nor received anything apologetic from any of the parties involved and ruining our overall experience. My relatives and I are reaching out to the owner as well and also taking legal actions as to our treatment and services that partake. This establishment exploited unprofessionalism, racism, and unsatisfactory tactics in our outing which is totally uncalled for and unacceptable and will be handled accordingly! We will not take this manner lightly and will conduct necessary precautions and duties to make sure no one ever endures this type of situation ever again. Totally...
Read moreFlew in from Atlanta and went here last night because we wanted to get a taste of Saint Louis Nightlife and an allout brawl broke out which is not on them but just the way they handled the people that had nothing to do with it. As the brawl broke out me and my people where trying to go in another room because we don’t know if someone is going to start shooting but one of the guys that worked there screamed at us to get out of there and that we had no business in there and closed off and locked the door, meanwhile on the otherside of the room it’s a brawl going down. Remind you the whole front of flamingo is glass so if someone wanted to start shooting they could see everyone on the inside. So pretty much he makes us stand in this one room after they finally got the guys out but the customers in the brawl kept coming up to the glass trying to comeback in. It was scary and won’t be returning. Need to pay for real security or police protection because someone could of got killed last night. Staff was cool though other than...
Read moreIt took over 10 minutes for any of the employees to even acknowledge us for service and when we ask why so long for anyone to offer us any help the aggression immediately started from one of the employees. When they finally gave us service we ordered alcohol beverages and 15 minutes later they ask us all for Identification which made us not understand since they didn’t ask us initially doing they order for identification so we asked why and once again the employee very aggressively answered the question stating that they we’re about to check everybody in the bowling alley ID’s but never did. It was 5 of us all African Americans 4 ladies 1 man, I really don’t want to say the rudeness and the unattentiveness came for racial discrimination but we all notice there was not any ethnic diversity amongst the employees. So the end results were we asked for our money back from the shoe rental and the lanes before we start bowling and went to another bowling alley were the...
