I’m updating my previous review of this salon. I went here for years until my regular stylist moved to CA. Went to a different person and asked for my long hair to be cut into a pixie cut. I needed something easy to care for and enjoyed the style in the past. I’ve had it short 3 times before over the years and knew it was an easy style I enjoyed.

The stylist told me that she “has a different client with that haircut. But she’s a lesbian and that works for her” and tried to talk me out of a pixie cut. Instead she gave me a Karen soccer mom bob. It was clear I didn’t like it, but she told me that I’d learn to like it. $80 for a haircut I hated. I was so angry and felt so talked down to. I went down the street to a new salon and got it fixed immediately and never went back.

I had such a wonderful experience at this salon with Kristen. I have never seen a salon quite like hers. The vintage vibe is so calming and welcoming. Very clean. Lots of natural lighting so you feel beautiful the whole time you are getting your hair done compared to salons that use fluorescent lighting. I LOVED the way my hair came out and is exactly what I asked for. My hair feels and looks amazing. Kristen is very well versed in her craft and you can tell she really loves what she does. She educated me on what type of shampoo and conditioners would best suit my hair type and how to maintain it. She gives an amazing scalp massage and her shampoo bowls are so comfortable on your neck compared to other salons I’ve been to.
